Harry Potter trio really needs to be from the deathly hallows but if they want to do a school uniform version then I can live with order of the phoenix. Star Ace did a pretty good go at the Philosopher's Stone / Sorcerer's Stone version of the trio (especially Hermione).
For me I’d def want them from half blood Prince since we could get uniform and causal versions. Fingers crossed we get more. I don’t see why Queen wouldn’t do a bigger line if this is successful since Star ace has horrifically fumbled their line

Going against the grain but I'd prefer JL Superman over BvS. I prefer the brighter suit and Cavill's hairstyle for JL (plus option to offer both classic and black suits). That said, if it is BvS I'm still good. I think whichever version it turns out to be will confirm which Batman and Wonder Woman we're getting as well, so (all being well) we'll learn the source for the trinity next month.

Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised, I thought Wonder Woman would be the first of the trinity they revealed. But if Cavill is back in Black Adam then I can see why InArt would like to reveal them together and have them coming out around the same time.

Hopefully this is true and we get to see all these figures next month!

Surprised Aragorn is getting a sculpted option (and also surprised Harry Potter isn't getting a rooted option given we just got rooted Batman and Bruce Wayne).

I’m of the belief that the figure descriptions listed for the Vegas convention are merely detailing the exact versions of the items that will be shown on display.

Both Batman and Bruce Wayne are listed as sculpted when we know there is a rooted version option of each- same with Joker coat version - so there could still very well be a rooted Harry Potter but, as he is presumably many months away from PO, IA have either yet to do a full rooted head or need a little more RnD time to perfect it on such a small head.

Harry and Ron have those floppy, bowl cut type styles that would work really well with a root job and Hermione’s hair absolutely demands to be the real deal.
Dumbledore and Snape will inevitably be rooted so the kids would throw off the cohesion of the whole ensemble if IA only offer a sculpted option.

Can't even begin to imagine the amount of futzing that will be required to get a Philosopher's Stone/Chamber of Secrets Hermione looking that perfectly messy :gah:

Bandai did the same versions of the Harry Potter characters from Sorcerers Stone and it killed the line since everybody was waiting for older versions. I hope that won't be the case here, because I want InArt's version of the trio from the second half of the series.

That is exactly what I was thinking! I just hope he sells well

From that list I'm only in for Paul, but I'll keep an eye out for the Phoenixoker and Balebat figures (and I'll wait for the inevitable RotK Aragorn). Going with Philosopher's Stone Harry right off the bat is weird, but if he comes at a cheaper price, I may just grab one on a whim. If they keep going with the Fellowship figures, I wonder if we could possibly see a Sauron one day. Still, one thing at a time. I'm curious to see if they'll only do Stillsuit Paul or if there'll be a doublepack option with his formal clothes. Anyway, not too long now, just a month.

I would rather have versions of them from movie 1-3 as 4-7 were way weaker for me. Prisoner of Azkaban being the peak point for me. Wonder how far they'll go with the line.

Goblet of Fire version for me, but anything other than the first two movies.

I predict it will be a constant stream of “I’ll have to get back to you on that”
Who knows, I’ll get back to you on that 😉 There might be some news on Aragorn and Paul at least, and some more info about that Vegas Con.

1) Will show full poseability of figures at Vegas event.
2) Production Joker will be shown at Vegas and Thailand event.
3) Speaking to licensors face to face in the US, which is why they're taking their pieces as proof of quality.
4) Have two new global licenses. Will announce in October.
5) Working on increasing existing licenses rather than attaining new ones atm.
6) Tried for Peaky Blinders and The Boys, rejected as have existing contracts.
7) Says he's pushing for Kravitz Catwoman to be made.

Other than that the same old questions and answers.

Talk about a waste of an allotted question by the Hot Toys Prophet Man of Hot Collectibles ''any plans to make a Dark Knight Batman?'' :slap

Really cool update. Thank you!

Given how good their multi-layered tailoring looks on both Joker and Bruce Wayne (at least the protos), I would've loved them to have the Peaky Blinders license. Such a shame that it's in the hands of BCS
