This figure has one purpose, imo: to allow fans to recreate the now-iconic throne room scene. When Fennec gets here that is going to be one bomb-@ss detolf shelf. Well itll be that before she gets here too, but just saying.

Tython armor is my favorite ever, so no probs in owning both versions. But really, this guy is here to sit on that furniture, and I cannot lie.
Thou speakest the truth.

The throne room display with Boba and Fennic will be amazing. Personally, I am fine with my acid-washed and monk 2-pack. (I do have Fennic on pre-order, though.)

MyenShi: I'll see how I feel about it in person once it's delivered. I know it's bothered some folks from day one but I still like his repainted look from the show so I'm still excited for it.

I find that when one looks at something in hand, its often completely different from the impression you get from people's close up pictures.

Your opinion changes once that plastic crack smell gives you that high. Then you put it on display and admire it from across the room. And in a week, you’ll forget people complaining about bumps in his armor was ever even a topic of conversation:lol

I'm pumped for this release! I think I prefer this look to the BoBF look, because it retains his connection to his Tusken tribe. However I also like his BoBF look because he's given himself a look more suited to a Daimyo.

Is the head sculpt the same as the 2-pack version?

Some quick and literal dirty pics of the throne on the Sideshow Jabba v1 Throne.

Feels a bit bare without Fennic, the spit, the Jabba railing and a few more fillers. Jabba will be reclaiming his spot now but I had to do it at least the once.

The throne is plastic but not flimsy in any way. It’s fairly solid but does feel a little hollow. Nothing I’d worry about warping or breaking. Exactly as I’d want it frankly. Sideshow would have gone polystone unnecessarily and cost $400 for the throne alone. This is how more diorama pieces should be built IMO.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I guess I would ask: does the headsculpt and throne feel worth the $145 premium?
