Looks good to me. People are always complaining on here when pics come out. He looks exactly as he should in the video: Bucky in FATWS. His design is a little boring in the show, but that's not Hot Toys fault.

Well the video changed my mind some, I appreciate the fine details of the costume - stitching and so on. Sculpt looks pretty good in the vid.
Mildly annoyed HT is using the Para again, which I don't remember Bucky using in this series. HT could have included an alternate coat and a pistol.

Fav MCU character but IMO u'd be hard pressed to top the amazing IW fig, and then there's the accessory loaded badass original. I might get this at an uber-discount. Then again, Bucky might show up in Thunderbolts so maybe I can wait it out.

Got my Bucky today. Pretty cool figure overall. Though the body shape and proportion of the shoulders/chest to the head bothered me, both in blogger photos and in-hand.

Now, Sebastian is not huge, and in FATWS he's pretty trim in this outfit, so I didn't want to go crazy. But the one missing sleeve and the body they used were doing some off things to the shape. His traps were low, especially on the mechanical arm side, his chest was very sunken in the front, and his back was rather flat, leading to a slight "big head" look.
So right off the bat I decided to see what I could do with some padding. A piece on his back, his upper pecs, and a little extra on the left side trap to lift the jacket (and then rotate the arm up to meet it). The effect is subtle (so subtle I wonder if you'll just be like "I don't see a difference" XD), but I think it helps bring things into a more natural proportion and I'm much happier with the figure now. Can't wait for Sam to pair the two :D

Man...that is a boxy looking figure..
Like his torso and such? TBF, Sebastian's torso seems kind of square as well. He doesn't have a crazy V taper like Chris Evans did. If anything, the figure could maybe use a touch of waist padding to make his upper body even less tapered I think.

Looks much improved, @CupcakeMcGraw! It's the choice of a thin body and the stiffness of the jacket that's making it look so square, to me. Like someone who normally wears a "M" wearing a "L". The way this final product turned out has me SHOOK that Cap Sam is going to be off, in some way, as I've had intentions on ordering him. 😬

I do see the difference and I think it is a definite improvement!

Just had some time to work on him, it isn't hard to add definition to his body just that the jacket is extremely tricky to remove (unless you don't mind sewing back the zip again)

Added traps to his shoulders, more on the left shoulder (metal arm) than the right. The right has a bit of padding that exists on the original figure so I just added a bit more chest definition with foam (those that people use to craft cosplay armor) to level out the right. The added traps also help removed that weird elongated neck that he had too. It's not supposed to look radically different because Bucky wasn't that bulky after Civil War.

Also added a thin foam strip around below his waist to even out the body because he has this weird triangle body going on when Sebastian Stan is mostly a H body shape. The last picture is most likely the pose I will put him with because he does that a few times in the show.

Cancelled mine. The Infinity War version just looks way better.
That version is just eerie how spot-on the sculpt is, plus the outfit. I passed on this even tho this is my fav MCU character.
But I have hope for Thunderbolts, tho by then a figure will cost 869$ plus shipping.:horror

I picked up some sculpts from Toy Anxiety for customs and also picked up a loose cable body. I threw together a quick bash today at work using some clothing I had to hand. I’ll be doing more variations and seeing what works later. I also popped the head on Concept Cap and it looks a good match for Bucky’s size. But I’m going to play around with the Cable body for now. As per usual with a camera phone, the head looks large on the body but it’s fine in hand. Also, as many who have this in hand will attest, the sculpt is great but in certain images it’s hard to see. Which is an issue many 1/6 figures suffer from.

I got a good deal on this figure and decided to grab him, then I swapped out his jacket for a spare Civil War jacket I had on hand. IMO the slightly looser fit of this one looks more natural. I'd prefer a shield that was less shiny but my extra TFA shield was readily available so I went with that. I was going to pad out his upper torso a bit more but the zipper was being problematic so I'm leaving him as is for now.

This looks pretty cool but I think I like it best with that headsculpt on the Concept body. I would like to see how that combination would look without the left sleeve and the Winter Soldier or Infinity War arm!

What kind of padding did you use for this and how’d you take out the jacket? Planning to customize mine just like how you did it when I get mine. :) Your Bucky looks awesome!
