I think it means no pre order. When they put it up for order it’s ready to ship out.

Correct. No pre-order window. No prototype. When it's ready to be release you can buy it, and what you see is what you get. New business model from Asmus.

Question for Asmus but not LOTR related. Wanted to know more about the new Bitten Zombie range. Will there be plans for more zombies in the future? Would be nice to build a zombie horde with different variations.

From customer support, I have info that the next planned LOTR releases will be (in the following order) GTW, Gollum, Thranduil, Frodo and Sam Cant wait to pick them all up!

GTW before Gollum? Interesting. He must be coming relatively soon, then. Because I thought Gollum/Smeagol were supposed to be right around the corner. Unless they're getting nudged back a bit.

So still no sign of that Boromir that we were supposed to have a finished look at months ago. Clearly something has gone wrong with that one.
Looking forward to GTW though. Must remember to have a few hundred quid in reserve for when that one drops for immediate release.

I’m actually pretty happy with original Boromir. The remake is going to have to blow me away for me to get him.

I wonder what happened to Boromir. The sculpt we saw months ago looked ready and everything else should have been the same.

Maybe they're just figuring out where to drop him into the production schedule? Maybe nothing has gone off the rails? Fingers crossed.

I think Asmus are just updating the sculpt and adding split-cut boots. Everything else will be the same.

Those of us with the og release will supposedly be able to get the improved parts separately which is very considerate of Asmus. They’ll need to totally nail the sculpt and paint for me to replace my rooted 1.0.

Boromir is right at the bottom of my personal interest list though. Lurtz is probably top followed by King of the Dead, Gil Galad, Merry and Pippin in armour, possessed Theoden on throne, Elindil and of course I’d love every type of orc imaginable.

The only reason Haldir, Isildur etc aren’t on my list is because I have the Weta statues. I totally agree that Haldir should be a high priority for Asmus. I’d most likely sell the Weta statue to replace with a figure. Isildur is a different story though. That statue is on a different level of perfection.
