It looks really nice.

But I'm curious about the different texture of material on the hood versus the sleeves. Is it just because you have the inner sleeves favored?

At first the inner sleeves looked too shiny, versus very matt and thick for the hood, it's better after some weathering. But you have to get used to the different texture, I agree. Here a last picture with his mates.

I only have two Nazgul -- the original WitchKing in armor and the Nazgul-on-steed (which I like to think of as Khamul).

I might get a 3rd as I have no free standing Ringwraith at the moment.

Incredible pictures, Neko. I like the look but really just wanted to focus on Middle Earth heroes and not baddies, but that pose of yours has me thinking. Great job by you.

Hello ! I received my Nazgul today, and took some time to display it. It really is a nice figure, I like the multiple layers of cloth, the fabric looks good, the metal parts are a cool surprise. The only red point in my opinion are the sleeves. They look great with the little embroidery on the edges, but Asmus cut them, to show the metal armor when the wraith raises tthe arms I suppose. So when you want to put the accent on the cloth rather than the armor you have to put the sleeves above the forearm and it's not that easy, you have to twist them and try to find a natural position and it's a pain.
Other than that, I'm very happy to add this iconic character to the collection !
(I didn't used the stand that Asmus provided because I wanted something more sober, simple and dark. So I took an old one.)
Here are some pictures after the essential water treatment (otherwise it's a mess of fabric), some cloth triming, and weathering.
Thanks Asmus, great figure ! :D

Looks amazing Neko.
Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the pics @Neko ! Nice looking figure and those robes look good to me too. Love the pose and your collection in general. Any chance of getting some group shots in the "Collection" thread if you have some time? :clap

Eh I'm really not liking how stiff and flat that fabric is looking, even after a water treatment, but I gotta say it still seems to make for a pretty cool and impressive figure anyway. Given that it's, you know, a Ringwraith.

Seems like it needs a lot more water in that treatment. Nazgul should not be poofy. That's why it works so well on the steed.

I'm very curious how InArt will solve that problem of blooming layers.

Wow. They've really taken things up a notch with the packaging lately.

Yes, If only they would take a little more care packing it up... This came direct from Asmus to UK, with no original shipper, oversized box with one thin layer of bubble wrap, and now I'm having the "we will discuss the matter with Fedex" conversation... Ugh... Be warned :cautious:

holy ****!!
That's bad!
Sorry to hear this.
I think from now on when I order direct,I'll ask in the comments in the order to have more bubble wrap secure around the art box.

@monkeyjedi sorry your boxes have been mangled like that. Is the figure ok? Of late Asmus have been putting hard plastic corner protectors on the shipping box - looks from your pics they were missing?
I'm in the UK also and upto now had no issues with Fedex, but it looks in your case a combination of bad packing by Asmus and bad treatment of the package along the way have caused this problem.
Hope you can get a favourable resolution if you take it further. :)
