Really wish I’d gotten two of these at the time. I wonder if SS will ever rerelease. Still have Hoth Luke and Hoth Han. May eventually swap the outfits over to HT head sculpts and KO bodies. Anyone know of folks who’ve done that?

I suggest swapping the two bodies. Luke?s body is bigger than Hans, so when you swap them it looks way better.

Interesting. I've always had Han and Luke on their Taun Tauns, so never noticed a size difference.

I swapped my Luke over to a dx07 body and head. Worked out great. Had some modifications to do on the helmet to accommodate the head but it worked out in the end. I posted pics on the Hoth Luke thread a while ago but I could dig them up if you?d like to see them?

Those look great. Definitely need to swap out Luke. I’ll probably swap out Han as well and use my Jnix sculpt, but hopefully HT will release a Bespin Han with a closer likeness to Han’s ESB look. I remember when the TaunTaun came out and folks were complaining about the seam, which is one of the reasons I held on picking up two. I wonder if anyone ever tried adding faux fur.

I found a pair on eBay last night, $2000 AUS for the set of 4 inc Figures, around $1600 US. I think its a decent price and this has been on my wish list for years. Early Christmas present, why not! They do look amazing, now I need that Dewback.....

Nice pickup and great price. This was one of my first purchases in 1/6 and regretfully sold it for space when living in a one bedroom. Wouldn't mind another chance at one.

My very favorite Star Wars collectibles. Congrats.

I think that's a great price. I sold my Dewback earlier this year to fund some other stuff but I've held onto my two Taun Tauns. They look so great with Han and Luke side by side. Congrats on the pick up and good luck finding a Dewback...that price has gotten pretty salty on the secondary market. Good news is I think the chances of Sideshow re-doing that are greater than re-doing a Taun Taun...

Congrats on the acquisitions. Truly one of Sideshow's best Star Wars releases.

If Hot Toys were ever to release Hoth Han and Luke, they definitely would have to release a Taun-Taun, as well.

It's indeed an awesome piece to have! My only regret is not buying a second one for Han back when they were in stock.

Congratulations on the deal! My absolute favorite piece in my collection.

Bummer about the pleather starting to go off on these - most Sideshow pleather seems superior to the HT stuff, though I did notice one of my Tusken belts had gone off recently.

I do agree with the guy Ian about the "statue" aspect of this and the Dewback. Even just limited articulation or a couple of swap-out limbs would have sealed the deal for me, but most people seem to have no issue with it, and my custom Dewback ended up as a statue too anyway.
