Remember this ? Back in February Nicky on his Instagram said " it's selling out fast act quickly " and " only a 45 day pre order window then the price will rise from $260 to $290 " . Well here we are over six months later and it's still up for pre order on Stallone Shop ! Fact is , it's not selling well at all. Stallone Shop's foray into 1/6th scale figure business has been a disaster, from the comical promotion by Nick cordasco to the finished product. Hot Toys prices for a sub par headsculpt, bad paint , lack of accessories , pay in full upfront and overpriced. This figure hasn't sold many pre orders and because of that Stallone Shop won't risk wasting money making more figures and will abandon this venture. I can't see Cobra being released.
Shame. I hope they do, was really looking forward to the Rocky figures.😕

The prototype looks fantastic, great sculpt. Eyes painted like this on the First Blood sculpt would be a winner.

Even the prototype went a hair big with the iris, but the production samples sent out for review were much worse.

That's the thing, Stallone Shop's prototypes were never bad. Production figures from these guys are another story: softened hair sculpts, pale skin, and eyes like Sly's a ghost.

I shudder to think of how melted the the badge and watch will look on the final. If they had a hard time reproducing Rambo's blade, the intricate Cobra accessories have no chance. And those will actually be visible.

I can see Stallone. But I also see Eric Balfour and even some Miles Teller for some reason.

They are using retouch/manipulated photos for the promo shoots. of the Cobra figure..look at the arm holding the gun, the clearly "natural hair type" in one of the photos and would hate to think they are using real photos of Stallone using filters to mate it to the figure head, I mean...look how bad is the Rambo head from "first batch/review examples",...do not even match the promo pictures. Pretty sure we will have the same result here with Cobretti.

At this point I don't want an unboxing video. I want to see the figure. This did a terrible job of doing that. I hate the hype, but get why they go this route. Both of these figures aren't terrible, but not worth the price for me. If it was priced closer to Threezeros I would have jumped on both. I don't want to support this due to Nick. It makes me feel dirty. Sylvester doesn't seem too interested in any of this as long as he gets paid. Could be wrong, but that's the feeling I get.

Doesn’t look to bad with his shades on. What a shame. ..I hope they get it right with the Rocky line.🫣 three’s a charm and all that.. (yes I’m a glass is half full kinda guy)
