The chrome trooper definitely has more of a matte finish, where Phasma is more shiny. Very noticeable difference to me.

Sideshow can really be a joke. My box came destroyed and they of course said the box is not covered. I saw the figure up on second chances with "slight box damage" and a nice discount (which they refused to give me) and they said of "maybe that one doesn't come with a box. What a sham. No wonder people use them less and less.

Send it back and get it from one of those comic book store from ebay or send it back and buy one of the second chance ones.

My box had a huge dent in it. Luckily the figure wasn’t damaged, but I can’t say whether SS shipped them like that or if UPS damaged them.

Not the point really though. We are collectors and they offer collectible items. To say the box is not part of the item is a blatant lie. Collectors care.

This was no surprise, after the success of Star Wars both Ralph McQuarrie and John Dykstra were pulled to work on Galactica.
Most of the primary models and fx team of "MCA-57" consisted primarily of Lucas' ILM crew, and even used equipment that had been assembled by Lucas for Star Wars.
They disn't just swipe concept ideas, they used Lucas' actual design team, and equipment.

It is hysterical if now some see SW as encroaching on Galactica,

You know what's really funny? I've bought from Seconds many times...mine always come with perfect boxes the Mythos statues and sixth scales I buy from seconds usually come with boxes in better shape than my regular purchase. It's really weird.

I got an email earlier today saying I have an "opportunity" to get one of these off the waitlist but apparently they are still/again sold out.

Yeah,unfortunately that goes out to multiple people. You gotta be real quick. I've had that happen on waitlist conversions. I just got one on Sideshow Seconds just this minute. I use page trackers that I setup on Sideshow Seconds pages because you can get an alert usually 5 mins or so before they go up on the seconds page. There actually a Seconds page for every item on Sideshow. Probably a good way for someone to grab Arena Fett too.

I don't mind the 15% discount either since price was too he main reason I hesitated when it first came out. But I'm really glad I got my hands on this one.

My shipper box came slightly crushed, but the inner box was fine. My wife said even she noticed the shipper on this one was kinda flimsy cardboard. Maybe keep that in mind if seeking this one out.

....So guess who's waitlist converted, this -after- I cancelled to get Arena Fett.

Thanks thats what I was afriad of. I can live with a mark on the back but not on the front. I reached out to SS. Will see.

Did you have any luck getting sideshow to swap this for you? I also ended up with a chest blemish on mine.

Hi yes I got my replacement. No issues. It seems they opened it to check before sending to me. Reach out to SS before they are all gone.

I'd really prefer they send me the body even if they strip it of everything except the chest. That way I don't have to send anything out, but guess we'll see.

Just picked up mine. This figure is really good. It may be just be my favorite clone.
Something about it just gives me old time vibes like Flash Gordon, Dr Who.
If I had to be a clone I would like to look like that
