Hot Toys - Kenobi Show - Grand Inquisitor

I think he’s got a really cool look and will stand out next to other Imperial officers. Think I’ll probably get this one eventually.

Give over! It's a classic HT move these days. Their main SW focus is D+ with the occasional legacy figure thrown in.

While I didn't care for the other inquisitors I will be picking this one up. Love the actor and after I got over the bulbous head appearance, I enjoyed his time in the show a lot. Wish we had more screen time with him. Maybe in a future show...

I hope we get that REVA baby!!!!

Looks great and will have nice shelf presence with Imperial shelves. Don't think people should be shocked this guy is coming.

I'll get him down the line, huge fan of the character from Rebels and from what little we got in Kenobi.

I agree, it’s a very cool look. I think he, new Vader with battle-damaged mask, and upcoming Ahsoka will make a cool live-action Rebels display together. But I can definitely do without anything else from this show, which I found to be quite a letdown.

That’s exactly Hot Toys M.O. They have a habit of phoning in sculpts for figures they think will be sure sellers regardless (Mk 85, ahem) and often put extra effort/attention into sculpts for figures that might otherwise not sell great.

Eh he's still looking way too cartoony for my taste, and if I were forced to choose I'd actually get Reva instead since I think she's got the more badass look. But of course I can think of about a billion other characters I'd rather have instead. Lol

I dunno, Reva doing the parkour over the rooftops was really cool, if the figure can articulate to do those twists and turns then we have a winner on our hands.

I wish HT used "inspired by bla bla bla series" excuse and found a middle ground between the OBK and the Rebels.

Good things:
-Successful replication of source material
-HT learnt how swooshing effect should be (one edge is in line with the axis of the hilt)

Bad things:
-Bad source material design
-They should've included another off-center hilt which would showcase spinning nature of the saber in a better way

I like the Grand Inquisitor, but I like Reva Third Sister more.

Actually the real reason is that these are two entirely different actors playing the same character 45 years apart
