For me the biggest mystery remains - why on EARTH do these two look SO different.

The eyes are different I think. In the top he's looking down and to our right. In the bottom he seems to be looking more up/forward, and slightly to the left.

That video doesn't show any additional articulation/poseability from what's in the photos. It's not photo shopped, it's just not a fully articulated body under the suit.
And just like that InArt has put out a video debunking that stuff hahaa

At least now we know the figure isn't "photoshopped" ;)

Dear God!

Jesus. Even the plastic haired Bruce Wayne looked good in that video. I don’t give a ****. I’m hyped. Actually, what I don’t think a lot of people get is that this is equal parts hype and schadenfreude from a lifelong DC fan. I’m not an InArt fanboy, I’m just desperately hoping they succeed because Hot Toys has gotten fat and lazy over the years and in all honesty? I want to see them dethroned.

For years, it’s been “you’ll take what we give you” and they’ve bombarded us with Star Wars and Marvel and Star Wars and Marvel and they’ve cancelled projects that people found exciting (I’m looking at you, Romero Joker and ‘66 Batmobile). It’s always been a crap shoot if they improve on anything from prototype to production. If they miss, typically, they miss and you deal with it. It sucked. It sucked waiting forever for **** that you knew they didn’t care about and were just waiting to dump off in the interim between the MK XLVI and the MK XLVII and now? I hope it comes back to bite them in the ass. :lol

They should improve likeness of Pattinson head sculpted a bit more and everything will be perfect!
They already improved Joker from the prototype. I'm more than sure they will improve from this prototype

Looks really good in the video too. Just not sure how much faith I keep going on for just POs as they’ll start to add up quick at this without anything ti show for it at this rate. Hoping the next figure isn’t Aragorn, Legolas or any members of the BvS Trinity. I want to have at least 1 figure in hand before continuing to drop deposits on this company.

You understand queen studios isn't something that just popped up? They make excellent pieces. While you wait, we'll pre order. Once you're ready to buy you'll pay the price that resellers will set for you

Yeah I want them to release Joker before I decide to pre-order anymore. I really don't have the amount of trust in these guys as the majority of other people here. The Joker in production pics really didn't blow me away, but I'll hold out judgement until a whole showing of it together is available.

But for sure these Batman proportions and the real fabric tailoring have me excited. HT's were always all over with the proportions, I guess because they priototized articulation, I'd rather have well proportioned and real fabric offerings that make film still and figure indistinguishable.

Also very happy that potentially a much better studio has the DC liscence, because HT sure don't give a crap about DC toys. The reason why it's just Marvel and Disney atm from them may be because they know INART holds DC, so what's the point.

This is mainly why I'm very excited with inArt. Other than their clear priority of aesthetic over articulations of course. HTs doesn't really 2 crap about DC anymore unless you're Batman. The way they left Superman head sculpt outdated since BVS really shows that

Some important information from a reliable Chinese collector from a FB group.

"Inart has finally show their Pattinson's Batman yesterday.
Some small information that probably you guys would want to know.
Inart SHOULD reveal their Pattinson's Batman in April but due to tons of tailoring issue and reshaping body proportion.
Then hot toys did an product update on May so the delays continues.
To them, this is a very rush reveal as they haven't actually complete yet and with tremendous of pressure from China collectors. They went with it.
The prototype isn't POSEABLE yet. There is no articulation in this prototype so no posing shown but some simple one they could go along now.
There is no RELEASE DATE as they ain't sure when they could complete it and mass producing it. Probably one of a GREAT reason to purchase because they tend to perfect it but it also became one of the WORST which we have to wait YEARS to release it. I'm expecting around 2024."

This should explain many questions that some on this thread has
Im confused. Are you saying this WONT release in Q2 2023 but maybe in 2024?

I think it's fake news. Queen studios would have indicated that in their reveal. they have been planning this figure since the beginning of the year. Don't forget they still have the batmobile and batcycle in the works.

Crazy that one random person said they heard from someone it was rushed and not articulated and that has become the reality lol. Why are we saying 'I wish they didnt rush it', like we wanted it to look better. That's implying that something needs to improve. The figure looks undistinguishable from a movie still.

Let's not get carried away. There is still some room for improvement and that definitely is not indistinguishable from a movie still (It looks real I mean but not indistinguishable for someone who is familiar with the real screen suit)

Anyway for me the cape is the biggest thing that could use work. Maybe the shape of the cowl from the back as it looked off in one picture. Im very happy with the suit material but its could still be a bit better and the proportions could use a slight tweaking. Overall I would say its 9/10 of the way there. The hot toys is like a 6/10.

inArt vs real suit. Doesn't get better than this
100% on point. And a few said the cape is to short looks accurate to me, and those same people said HT cape was to long sooo.. Lol but definitely this is the one to have I might just say **** it, and cancel the HT and order a second standard also.

I knew they were going to post a video like this. And I'm glad they did so they can shut up the people saying they rushed due to pressure from fans. GTFO
A lie either made up by a group of Hot Toys fanboys, or someone putting out disinformation on Hot Toys’ say-so.
