Yep - at the risk of yet again giving a controversial opinion - I'm not seeing the enormous jump in quality between these offerings that I saw between the Inart Joker and DX11 or Inart and HT Pennywise.

The biggest difference I can tell near-instantly is the chest plate/piece being smaller on the HT - and to my eye the smaller chest is more accurate....

Also call me insane - but I think the updated HT sculpt is superior on the Batman
Just look at this video (feel free to mute Justin - I always do)

The Inart Premium version of Batman is really nice - I love that it comes with all the Riddler Cards, the Computer and the empty cowl, but I still think the HT is the better value for money, and better overall package when you consider the diorama base (and like I said I do personally consider the New updated HT sculpt superior)

I wanted this to blow me away and it hasn't.

But, I honestly do see myself purchasing a Premium Bruce Wayne figure - I think it looks really really good.
Feel free to cart me away to the loony bin.
With you there, 100%. I'll absolutely be checking out everything InArt creates going forward.

Feel like this Hot Toys vs. InArt debate has been going on for 2 years and it's only been a few months, lol.

Hope it doesn't get so controversial going forward. He!!, I feel like I finished the best DeadShot custom out there yesterday and I could post it and folks would be like, "Meh..."

Im not liking the cape mainly
I have gave up caring about the stock cape a long time ago. HT never got it right, I never expected them to get it right either. Good thing we will have Jaxon and plenty custom options to look at

I just really don’t think it’s that much better. I find all these people who are suddenly all uppity with their comparisons ridiculous (InArt is art, Hot Toys are just toys.. please).

Do I think the InArt figure is nice? Sure. Is it that much better than the Hot Toys figure? Honestly debatable in my opinion. I feel like people are banking hard on the hype train personally.
Not on the “hype train” but I went with inart and just canceled my HT order. As you say, it’s all debatable, but the inart version looks significantly better to me all the way around.

I'm so conflicted. I have the HT with base pre-ordered already but I do feel the Inart is better. The price is the only thing stopping me from cancelling the HT. $500 for the premium Inart is just too expensive.

Here's how I look at it. HT's one proportion looks off, basically all their Batman figures proportions are off (BVS, TDK, this). When I eventually get my hands on it I will 100% spend extra money and send it to an artist to correct that. InArt proportions from the proto pics here looks miles ahead of what HT has shown, that alone just justify the price difference to me.

There’s nothing wrong with sticking with Hot Toys version. It’s not bad by any means. No reason to feel like you have to go with Inarts. It’s good that we have both options for those who do want to splurge a bit with Inart and for those who are content with Hot Toys.

Sure it looks slightly better, but nowhere near the difference with HT’s DX11 and inarts joker.

Not exactly sure if it guarantees canceling my PO.

Reminder that both brands get made in Chinese sweatshops by underpaid children. Nothing artsy about it, lol.

InArt is art

But it’s in the name. :lol

I do agree. Most people around here are rational but there are some very vocal people out there who are in a hype only echo chamber.

We can talk about both Hot Toys and InArt without denigrating Hot Toys, and most of us seem to.

They’re different companies doing different things in different ways at different price points.

I do get the excitement and I’m all for InArt doing well because this competition in the marketplace was much needed. But I still respect Hot Toys for what they've accomplished over the years.

I think for standard value, inart might take the cake, I personally like Hot toys headsculpt more though so I won't be getting the deluxe with rooted hair. Inart's chestplate alone makes me want to get theirs.

Anything more than standard, I feel for value hot toys is better, you come with so many accessories, and overall a good price. But then if you have the money and love the bruce wayne/rooted option thats a good choice too.

I’m in the camp of I think it looks nice and I can see some differences in the suit, but it’s not giving me the wow factor like TDK Joker and Gandalf did. I would also like to see larger pics with the swap out mouth pieces. $500 for rooted InArt base figure vs $515 for the total package including batsignal from Hot Toys. I feel like if HT had photographed their figure in the same style as InArt there may be even less of a debate. We also don’t know what standard skin tone production paint looks like for InArt at this point either. If I knew that, I would probably pay more for the InArt. I’m not one who wants to buy a figure and then have to go send it off it get repainted.
