The collection so far!
The Optimus prime hauler can be found at amazon, Spanbauer I managed to score MPM-13 online from target directly, no luck on the stores but got sidetracked with the micromachines transformers sets and playsets hahaha

Amazing pics! Looking forward to eventually nabbing this figure. They really look to have poured their heart into this one when some of the others have cut corners IMO.
Thanks! Yeah they really did; it's like someone finally had the power to say, "instead of trying to hit a specific price point let's just do it right and it'll cost what it costs".

More pics!

Anyone else think that takara tomy is really cheapening the look of expensive figures (MP line) with terrible proportions trying to emulate screen accuracy? it's like they didn't realize that the long legs and short torsos in the cartoons were meant to convey the height of the robots.

Eh, I like the proportions - what I don't care for is turning black tires into greys and making the window glass blue. The windows are "blue" in the cartoon only because it's obviously meant to be the sky reflecting in them. It's not supposed to actually be blue glass. That to me looks really cheap compared to the dark tinted glass they used to use.

Well said!

Yup, I'm done with Hasbro.
We (meaning my buddy and me, with our shop "The Collectors Bay") were at the german TF convention, the C.O.N.S. and Hasbro was scheduled to be there.
Well...no.
Hasbro Germany were told by the big US bosses "WTF?! No?! You're not going at all."
We get whole waves cancelled, no titans, no support, overall designs have been lacking anyhow?!

I love Transformers, but Hasbro can ****. I am not reviewing Hasbro products anymore and I am also not buying them anymore.

In case you guys are interested.
My buddy and me got that small shop over here; The Collectors Bay and this past weekend, we had our first vendor booth at this years returning C.O.N.S., the german TF convention.

Little travel log below:

His Bot mode is just as impressive

It is a shame they made him with missing leg covers but it’s my minor gripe compared to the fact that I finally have a fully posable Grimlock in bot mode that has incredible articulation

” Optimus..can you forgive?..me.. Grimlock was jealous of you “

Such a solid figure to pose

Here’s his scale to Optimus ..which is great IMO..he needs to tower over Optimus

Back side looks solid

Fantastic options

Best dinosaur hands articulation in this scale out of any grimlock I’ve owned

Don’t forget about the eye feature

And of course..

Blue..

or Red..

Grimlock reigns, man. I reviewed him yesterday and video is coming tomorrow.
I, on my end, don't mind seeing the inner workings. G1 toon aesthetic is plain as is, so that makes it more interesting to me, but everything about him is ace. Can't wait for my EX version.

Fans Toys Sovereign got released as G1 toy deco, desginated FT-16T.
Sadly he broke on me, cause the rotatable lower arm portion was too stiff and I got paint chips after the transformation.
That and also technical shenanigans shows that I'm unlucky with this figure, as the first also had paint chips.

Still, here's my review:

That's the Prime1 quasi-G1, right? Looks tremendous, but the statue game is way to expensive for me and I need my stuff poseable. Kudos though. Looks brilliant.

Yeah it's the G1 but designed by Josh Nizzi, the artist who did some of the Bay movie designs and MCU stuff like the Hulkbuster mech. Not big on un-posable statues myself too, but since I'm keeping just ONE Prime I guess I'd go with this due to the shelf presence.
