yup no longer available now, did you get one? If not then...let me see

I appreciate that, Kit, thank you. I did not PO only because I really want to see the final product to know if I want to go down the In-Art LOTR path. If I buy one, I'll likely buy all 3 so I need to be certain.

Joker will likely tell me a lot about In-Art and I do have that deluxe locked up with you. Still hoping they make the December release date.

I was really hopping to see how well Joker came out in hand before going for another figure, but they really want that FOMO pre orders lol.

Sucks I missed out on the pre order window 😭 but I don’t want to invest in something that wasn’t proven in hand yet.

So it seems they’re going to complete the Fellowship, or at least there’s a few more coming. What do we reckon? Gimli for sure, to pair with Legolas. Frodo is obviously nailed on. That leaves? Samwise?

Can’t see them putting out all the Hobbits at once, so maybe Frodo and Sam first, Merry and Pippin as a 2-pack the year after. I think whatever way they decide to do it Boromir will be last. Not sure how well Boromir would sell if they put him out now. Put the rest of the Fellowship out first and those that have gone all-in on the Fellowship will want Boromir to complete it.

Where did you hear they are going to complete The Fellowship? I thought they had only announced GTG, Aragorn and Legolas so far? I mean, I'll take them all if they do them of course. Doing two packs of the hobbits would be cool and Merry & Pippin definitely need doing justice at this point with all the correct weapons and accessories.

There was a recent livestream that said they plan to go further. But they didn't say they were going to complete the Fellowship.

He said he's seen a few more from the Fellowship other than Gandalf, Aragorn and Legolas. Then he said something about Gandalf the White after they've done with the Fellowship. Whether they'll get around to more than 2/3 of the Fellowship who knows. If they release 6 of the 9 then there'll certainly be a vocal crowd calling on them to do the final 3.

Oh this is a great time for LOTR collector.. we are finally able get the fellowship figures with great quality!! Hopefully they make all 9 of em! :D

I do wonder how much further they will delve into LOTR. John did say they have more planned, even though his very first interview he said categorically that there was no plans for Frodo -- he specially said he "couldn't see what that would even look like".

At their prices, very hard to fathom what they'll do.

Gimli seems certain. Just for Aragorn and Legolas.

Frodo? I suppose if they make a two-pack so they can get decent money for him. If they make him to scale, he'll be really small -- smaller than collectors are used to on their shelves.

Saruman is also likely.

Not sure who has a chance after that. Sales will determine what we get... even if they're planning more, doesn't mean they see the light of day if sales for Gandalf, Aragorn and Legolas are less than hoped or start to drop off.

Great quality 1:6 figures of the Fellowship have been available for some time from Asmus …
They're the best we have and worthy of praise, but IMO Asmus's releases always feel like they have at least one major flaw that detracts a lot from the quality and/or character/actor likeness. I own several and intend to keep them, but I'm still a tiny bit upset about their new old man Bilbo looking so damn angry :tap

I don’t know about Gimli being certain. Just like Frodo he would require an entirely new body. Except for the interview I would have thought Frodo was more likely than Gimli. If they do not see Frodo worth making from a company standpoint Gimli seems a no go to me too.

I would probably put the Witch King up there since there are some plans for a Nazgul already. He seems the most likely to me after the ones already announced, mentioned or hinted at.

was going to answer this, but then I see it as a sarcasm, and just LOLed.

But anyway,
..IMO Asmus's releases always feel like they have at least one major flaw that detracts a lot from the quality and/or character/actor likeness..
Nagoya answered it for me.. well said! ;)

If you're not being sarcastic, then maybe our definition of great quality is just.. different, warlock. Let's just put it that way.

If they made a Lurtz, I think they would get a ton of attention.
