Is the body not silver on the original?
no, regular plastic just flesh tone. HT didn't start doing silver until the BvS figure and then chrome on both JL figures.
I get that. While I’ll more than likely get the InArt BvS Trinity, I would love if HT (or even InArt) were to make an MoS 2.0 as it’s my favorite suit for Cavill.

Wait what? Maybe I’m missing something but why are the bodies silver?
B/c that’s how it was actually done in the movies to get the metallic shine look under the blue suits. In MoS and BvS, the muscle suit was black material with the muscle plates painted chrome silver, and in JL the muscle plates were painted mirror chrome. The MoS HT figure base body isn’t painted silver however the BvS one is to try to match better with how the real suit was done, and then again with the JL figures but in mirror chrome. The JL figures take it a step further by having black outlines painted around the muscles to be a little more like how it was done in the movies.
