I think I'm even more excited for the Bruce Wayne lol, but I'm not sure if I'll get rooted or sculpted, his hair isn't as messy as the Joker so I'm wondering if the rooted will require regular gel to keep it looking right. I can't wait to compare pics of both versions soon lol
Yeah this hair isn't goanna need that type of treatment they will be using the type customs sculpts use which is lamb fur or another type. They aren't doing the cheap route with how HT does theirs using doll hair.

Oh that's cool! I really wanted a good rooted version so that's awesome to hear, now I'm getting even more hyped over the full reveal lol

surprisingly lots of hair spray too to keep the hair keeping its form during shipping, but some artist found a nifty way shipping heads without it jumping around in the box. usually the form of ton of blu tack and a screw that holds the head at the base so it doesn't move even if you shake it a bunch. thats what makes me curious is how they'll package rooted haired figures. i hope not inside foam.. thats just careless to me if they want us to pay a premium for rooted hair. i know these figures are mass produced and not custom artists where they put care and attention into, but c'mon.

Oh yeah I didn't think about packaging, it would be sad to get matted hair from HT-style plastic bands and foam lol. Those domes seem like a good direction, maybe InArt will use a small plastic bulb. I really hope the Joker ships this year, so many questions will be answered lol

i think asmus "adopted" something similar for their gandalf but i think it was just shoved in another box with foam inside. it doesn't even need to be anything elaborate, but presentation might be nice. always made me curious after their pennywise release how they teased a storage box for the extra sculpt. if they just stuff the head inside a box, then them styling it will be be for nothing. hopefully they adopt something similar to what people are doing since viper was in charge of the prototype. i just hope he gave them feedback on how to store heads and package them since he worked on mishi's joker. lots of questions in the air but hopefully it does get answered. so far its promising for a mass produced figure, but still lots of questions left up in the air until its released and in collector's hands

If InArt creates figures half as well as they create hype, we're in for a real treat.
Haha very true. They really are setting the bar high for themselves. Let’s hope they’re not overreaching. Every time I see the rep guy on streams he’s always with the line “whatever you want we’ll try to make”. It’s both refreshing and a little hard to believe, but bloody great if true. On the flip side they’re also extremely honest, especially about the difficulties in obtaining certain licences, global licensing etc, so that makes me want to trust them that little bit more. Anyway, it’s all just such a refreshing change from Hot Toys, whom I think have lost a bit of passion for what they’re doing.

I hope InArt have a better method than Asmus for packing the heads. My Crown Gandalf came out looking like he’d just tumbled down a mountain.

But a little water and futzing got him looking appropriate.

I just want to see some innovation now that preserves the advertised quality of a figure instead of relying on the consumer to do the work to get it up to scratch.
