Stan Lee and Wally Wood, for 6 issues (1-6), then even they realized how ridiculous he looked and put him in red. Probably the fastest costume change in comic history. Using it for this show after already introducing a nice red suit for him is just silly. His black suit would at least make more practical sense.
Huh, weird. For some reason I always remembered it as yellow and brown. I have no idea where I got that from.

No, the original design is the fault of Bill Everett and Stan Lee. Wally Wood created the red costume, he had nothing to do with the original design. If not for the ease of toy repaints, I doubt the yellow costume would still be in the public conscience. Asude from cameos, it hadn't appeared in the comics for decades before it started showing up as a toy...

Yikes I just saw a preview for this and abomination sounds like a complete *****. Seriously he changes and gets yelled at and “ok ok calm down”

If marvel is just planning on making all the intimidating monsters into a bunch of bitches with high voices and can’t say anything without a joke then I’m out and it’s been fun.

Dr doom I’m sure is going to go the way of ultron and be this lovable metal man who quips. I fear for the other iconic characters.

Fiege. We love you bro but stop with the comedy. The reason why people love infinity war is cause it didn’t feel like a sitcom. Also people loved thanos cause he was a no o sense villain. It’s OK for villains to be scary.

Let's be honest, does anyone have literally any expectations from [current day] MCU? Come on. All I ask for are some cool dolls. I've waited my entire life to see Namor, Kang and Doom, and I'm getting what I'm getting. Like Brad said in The Counselor; "it's all ****; it's all ****".

Underrated movie and I'm standing by it. I don't get why people hated it.

I keep hearing that film is underrated.

The problem with Kang is that he looks absolutely nothing like he does in the comics so ….

It really is. I've heard it called too wordy, nonsensical or pretentious, but I found it very down to Earth, straightforward and clear about what it is. It's just got some flowery words. I think people just didn't like how bleak and gritty it is. It doesn't mince words or sugarcoat it. I get the complaint that it's basically a bunch of vignettes of people talking, but not everything has to be an action flick. My take is that everyone expected another No Country For Old Men, and The Counselor just wasn't that. The Coens are more ethereal directors, while Scott is more clinical so there's a grand disperancy in the style, even disregarding the different points of the films.

I'd say it's certainly worth a watch.

That plus he's a ridiculous actor with a goofy face. I've ranted about it many times before. Kang has a very specific look that matters to his character. You can't change it. He's not "generic space guy", he's got a theme. I hate the casting. I legitimately loathe it. I can't remember any other casting that bothered me as much. Even pudgy Namor is better than that. Kang's always been one of my favourites and this is what I get. I was hyping myself for multiple figures of all of his looks, and I'm stuck with that guy. The cosmic farce of it all is that the one character who's got tons of AU variations, is the one we're getting stuck with a goofy Z-Lister playing him in literally every incarnation. No other actors/actresses appearing as Variants, nothing. Just him. And as per some leaks, the moment where he'll arrive in full on Rama-Tut cosplay is when I'll wipe my HD... God can't even let me have my capes...

Heh people are already review-bombing this in IMDB. So many 1 star reviews even if it hasn't come out yet. :lol

I like the actor but not as Kang

I watched a couple of his films to give him a chance even after the awful Loki scene. I didn't like him at all. That last theatre bit in "The Last Black Man In San Fransisco" was ridiculous. Literal High School Drama Club kid trying to copy Denzel from Fences. He seems like a good dude with charisma in the interviews, but he can't embody the supergenius conqueror obsessed with the past. At least he's working out, unlike the Namor guy... But like I've said, Kang has real life ties to actual aesthetics and themes that can't be carried over if you change his look. They should've used Zarko The Tomorrow Man if they wanted a generic time travelling tyrant.

It is what it is. I hate it, the publications will praise it, and WW3 will start before the reboot in 23 years so bye-bye to me ever getting a faithful Kang adaptation... Maybe Mezco will make a One:12 figure for me to pair with my Doom. Whatever. I'm off to bed now.

I'm sure I would hate this, but I think that's unfair.

Just like Ms. Marvel, this isn't for us. This is literally the "Sex and the City" meets capeshit series to try to hook the women viewing demographic. Just ignore it. I never watched Ms. Marvel and I certainly never review-bombed it. I just ignored it cause it had nothing to do with me. I'm sure I'll ignore this as well.

That's the reason I had such a violent negative reaction to the "Sandman" series. That was personal. I adored the comics like a secret lover. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on Sandman comics and merchandise over the years. I didn't actually take the time to give it a negative review, but I feel entitled to with that series.

Agree with Otomofan, it's a ********* thing to do. And it's the kind of behaviour they're talking about when they appear to be blaming fans for things.

edit - dooshbag* is censored?!

*at least the more common spelling of it is

They probably should prevent votes prior to release of the episodes IMO. Unless the rating is specifically about interest (not a review rating).

The episode 1 rating for example should not be open until the episode actually releases.
