I enjoyed that too. The snappy dialogue between Bruce and Samuel L Jackson was great, had some real zest in some scenes. Jeremy Irons deserves a mention too as a great villain!

I think it was mentioned here somewhere but Bruce Willis basically won't license himself. He's only had a few things made, I don't think he could avoid GI Joe and I think he had a Sin City toy made by NECA and they somehow talked him into making a Die Hard figure then, but that's it. I don't know why a third party hasn't done one.
It's strange that he makes all of these direct to streaming paycheck films now where he doesn't even try to act but won't take the quick cash by licensing himself out for toys.

Die Hard with a Vengence is a pretty damn good sequel in my opinion.
Die Hard with a Vengence is definitley the best sequel. Die Hard 2: Die Harder is also a really good sequel, despite being a carbon copy of the original in a lot of ways (like Home Alone 2) and having a very forgettable main villain. I also actually love Die Hard 4.0/Live Free or Die Hard. It gets a lot of crap for being PG13 but it's actually a fantastic action movie and Willis was on top form. Plus, there's an unrated cut with swearing and blood.

A good day to die hard? That was an absolute disgrace to the Die Hard name, a steaming pile of crap.

The original is obviously the best. The second one is fun enough. But my favorite after the original has to be "Live Free or Die Hard". That was just a great popcorn flick, from beginning to end.

Yeah nothing tops the original of course. Vengeance is the next best imo. The ending of DH 2 is pretty good though.

I might give them a watch if they're on streaming or something, it's just that I never really had the chance to watch any of them despite seeing the original countless times.

I once saw a clip on TV when I was out drinking with a buddy with the one has Willis on a 4x4 trampling on civilian cars. My friend said it was Die Hard and I remember asking him bewilderingly, "That's Die Hard?"

That was "A Good Day to Die Hard", the only crappy one.

Yeah, A Good Day to Die Hard is absolutely terrible. Dont bother with it at all. The rest are entertaining to really good, just make sure you watch the unrated version of Live Free or Die Hard/Die Hard 4.0.

Pretty happy with my customs but an official McClane would be much welcomed.

Man, Die Hard is my all time favorite movie. I'd LOVE a figure. How has it not happened yet!?

Also, it's sad about Bruce Willis and his diagnosis. It pains me that the Die Hard franchise ended with that f@#king awful excuse of a fifth film. John McClane deserved a better ending. I always hoped that maybe they'd get John Mctiernan back to direct a final film.

I'd love to see Threezero or Blitzway take this on. Threezero showed they could do great things with the Rambo 3 figure and Blitzway with the Fight Club, Hannibal Lector and Ghostbusters figures. The (relative) simplicity of the vest and pants could hopefully allow the company more time to develop a suitable upper body sculpt with jointless arms like the Hannibal Lector figure. So more of a static statue maybe as opposed to an action figure. Plus some cool accessories, and you've got an instant classic release on your hands.

Hi guys, looks like someone was reading my mind! There's a very promising project starting over on the Custom One-Sixth Site for a new McClane figure with tailoring by Iris and head sculpt by Beastmaster. We need 30 people to get this off the ground. This one should be a winner! I've been looking for a proper tailored outfit for ages and this is now my chance.

Best way to get his tattoo on his arm? Did all you guys paint it that small? Or is there an easier way?
