EXO-6 Star Trek "Discovery" figures

Agreed, I just opened mine up and this figure is impressive as hell in hand. Every detail is just spot on and I'm utterly amazed that they were able to execute this complex uniform so well. And I'm also loving all the detail on the accessories and the new DSC-style transporter base.

I was a bit concerned about the boots, but thankfully they're just soft enough that you can angle them slightly for a more dynamic pose if need be.

It's easily the best Exo-6 figure to date.

A few quick shots. Unfortunately despite being as gentle as possible I still ended up snapping one of the wrist pegs right off the bat, but I've got plenty of spares around so was easily able to replace it.

When I was initially posing this figure's arms,I was reminded of the typical Hot Toys detail around the shoulders (like Yondu) of a separate sleeve and torso garment, made to look like one garment. I think that approach does improve articulation movement, but this look of Burnham as she is now is clean and amazing.

She looks great there! Sculpt and uniform look pretty spot on! Now to decide on what pose to have her in when she eventually arrives…

I’m not buying her but does the communicator seem a bit oversized or is it that big on the show?

Yeah now that you mention it, it is pretty oversized. Probably because the gold cover was made of plastic this time instead of a thin metal like the QMX ones.

It’s a lovely figure and the work on the uniform is outstanding, but it does hamper the poseability. I’d be excited to see a season 4 version of Burnham with her longer hair and the jacket/pants combo (even though I’m not really a fan of it), but I imagine it would be better suited to sit in a Captain’s chair.

I’m sure that’s super unlikely, but anything’s possible until EXO-6 closes its doors!

Whoop whoop Burham has landed in the UK. Only 15 days since dispatch, that's impressive considering the covid issues still in China
So looking forward to Saru. He's gonna be a stand out figure

1/6 Scale Star Trek Museum needs all Trek to be able to be called Museum.

We are obligated to do nuTrek too.

I like DSC and I seriously like Burnham who reminds me of my own venture in 1/6 Star Trek.

The salary that I received from QMx was about the same as my monthly social allowance. If I want to make money, then I must be a birdbrain to pickup 1/6 Star Trek.

I hope the Discovery line is reasonably successful, as although it isn't my favourite Trek series, I would like at least a half dozen crew members to represent the show.
Discovery has always been an oddity to me as to who the main crew are?
Obviously Burham, Saru, Tilly & Stamets.
But are Georgiou, Lorca, Book, Ash & Reno more of guest stars than core cast?
Do Detmer, Owosekun, Culber, Nilsson, Grey, Bryce & Rhys count as main or secondary characters?
Airiam & Linus would make interesting looking figures, but would there be enough interest?
Any thoughts? (Please no knocking the show, this is just about figure potential)

Burham has arrived. Very nice figure, loving to details on the uniform & the accessories are top notch. Impressive likeness of Sonequa Martin-Green, as younger faces seem to be difficult to capture & paint.
Leg articulation is a bit limited, due to uniform.

We’ve seen an Empress Georgiou prototype, but with the early season uniforms on Burnham and Saru, I’d like to see Lorca too. Tilly’s figure would require some extra work to match, but I hope to see her made as well.

Then I would like Stamets and Culber, followed by Owosekun and Detmer (did Detmer have her cybernetic implant in Season 1? I’d prefer her with it).

Reno is my favorite and would love to see her figure too, but then her uniform wouldn’t match the current releases (unless I’m misremembering her debut). I’d also love to have Book, but with a Season 3/4 Burnham.

Airiam would be a fantastic, super niche figure that I would definitely order. I don’t have the Burnham box with me, but is Ash Tyler’s portrait on the box??

Reno did wear the earlier Discovery uniform.
