Close, but just not right. The eyes look wrong. Not sleepy enough or something. I would get this if it was stronger. He looks great from the back.

I prefer the scrappier leather jacket look from the first movie, but this is looking halfway decent.

Maybe not PERS but it does look like moveable eyes.

It's very alien. Like when they are colonizing and they send a doppelganger, but the doppelganger is just off.

Not great but not that bad looking either aside from the eyes being the wrong color. Personally though if I was to get a Rocky I’d prefer the training sweats look from the first film.

Even Hot Toys abandoned that system. They patented it but it tends to be broken so they don't use it anymore. Just a standard moveable eyes. Some companies already used it way back.

As for this new StarAce, it's a maybe for me (the eyes bug me) - no Butkus as an EX accessory?
Surprised the Stallone Shop is not tackling this outfit for one of their figures.

I don't trust Star Ace, especially when it comes to production. Not to mention they are overpriced. Still if this comes out like the proto I'll buy. It's not perfect, but pretty good. Agree there should be a Butkus at least as an option.
The other question is will there be a boxer Rocky and Apollo (with fight damaged swap-outs)? I still have the HT figs.
