As SmoothEmjay said, I remember there being this exact same discussion with the first figure when the prototype was on display. Look how that one turned out. Hope they actually nail the color on this one.

We’ll see how the final product turns out, but this new prototype is most definitely darker and more colorful than the Chromecop we received 9 years ago. I think it looks great there!

Justin has a video up, too.

 
This is probably the exact same prototype from before, they just slapped the jetpack on it lol.
 
I passed on the previous Robo's, color was an issue. Might buy this one, even if Robocop 3 was such a bad movie, and the flight pack... plain laughable. Hefty price tag thought. Will be around $550, taxes and sipping to EU included. Don't know if it really is worth that kind of money.

There wasn't much to improve upon really. They're cheating by giving us Weller's mouthpieces with a RoboCop 3 figure.

I wasn't happy with how the original's paintjob turned out so I skipped it and regretted it. Now I can get it so I am very excited! Now if HT can just reissue some T2 figures...

I think the complaints are funny. All the people who go on and on about not getting anything aside from Marvel or Star Wars or DC and then they do a character like this and people still aren’t satisfied.

I realize it’s not the fan favorite film but all in all it’s a similar look across all the films (aside from the colors of the armor).

I think you’re missing the point, Mike. HT barely does anything outside of MCU/Star Wars anymore, so when they finally do something different this is what we get. A more expensive half-assed lazy repaint with even less features from the worst film in the franchise. I think the “complaints” are valid.

Lol, would not put it past them but I think the new one has more obvious purple tints. The original prototype in 2013 was a beautiful darker grey/steel blue.

Damn I want the original prototype. The old one is too light and the new one is too blueish.
 
If people have the original and want an accurate R1 figure, it would probably be cheaper to get the original repainted than buy a whole new figure and wait 2 years for it.

If that's the case, I'll display the original Robocop in damaged form.

Then Robocop 3 in regular pristine form.

I also have the 1/4 Robocop statue on preorder to pair with the 1/6 figures - the statue is from that French(?) company (Oniri) that has the silicone mouth area.

What are the chances of HT being complete dicks and adding a BD helmet later when the PO time frame for the EX is over?

I mean, as it is, that EX is a complete afterthought, it simply makes no sense.

What to do.
 
After Peacemaker nothing would surprise me with HT. They do actually listen.

You just need to plague their social media and email them.
