Will there be a regular version with a normal base, or is there only going to be this version with the Iron Monger base?

they announced a "regular base" on the Insta channel of the HK division.
I def get this one, as i only have the workshop version. This time around the colour looks much better too.
As they produced a battle damaged version of this back in the day, i would not be suprised if they do it again in the coming years. After all Iron Man is their bred n butter...

Finally! Been waiting for this figure for at least a decade since the unofficial 2.0 was released. Always thought that was too much of candy apple red.

This and my Mk 85 will be the only IM’s I’ll need in my collection.

Honestly, such an underwhelming release. The 1/4 is still on a completely different level.

Yeah the 1/4 proportions are still much better.

And why do you guys like oversized Iron Mans? Everyone seems to be praising that obscene almost 13 inch height. These HT RDJ Iron Mans are taller than Thor and Cap.

They kinda should be, considering the armor adds 5 inches.

Thor is 6'3. Tony is 6'1 out of the suit, and 6'6 in it.

While I am definitely in the camp of people who are sick of IM armors, this one I can make an exception. The other would be a diecast Iron Monger 2.0. They must be working on that one.

RDJ is 5'8" and he never appears TALLER than Cap or Thor in the MCU, even in armor. Most of the info says Mark III is 6'3" at most. It just looks silly on display to see this metal man tower over a god.

I'm not an expert of mark 3 design, by what hot toys stating about enhanced color, does this new mark 3 has an accurate paint? Or the first one still the most accurate?

The red is still off, but it's better than the original diecast.

The proportions on the 1/4 are perfect! If the red was more accurate it would be the definitive Mk3.

I'll take it since I still don't have a dc mk3. The height adjustment will work well with the recent IMs so I'm glad I didn't bite on the first dc mk3. I wonder if they'll redo the mk1 again though.

This will be mine!!! Only reason I never was going to do a Mk 1-7 hall of armor was because the scale of Mk 2 & 3. Err we’ll mk1 too lol but now I might complete it

This is a stellar release. Figure itself looks, incredible, new Tony sculpt is one of their very best, and that diorama base is awesome too.

They’ve really come a long way in 14 years.

Honestly what an incredible journey it’s been, both for us as collectors and Hot Toys as a company.

Yeah buddy. I can finally pick this one up as it was the only one I was missing from the earlier armors. Finally, you can rest Tony. I'm done with IM. haha

Lol, I was going to come post these exact comparisons but you beat me to it. That original Mark III was my third Hot Toy figure. Crazy to see them side by side like this.
