Must be a fan edit. I'm not aware of any official B&W release. There has been different color/timing releases, the Dean Cundy approved version for example, but not B&W.
My guess as well, stunning nonetheless. Wouldn’t be surprised to see an official release like that one day though…. especially if there is money in it.

Why is this offered in b/w? Maybe to recoup some of the costs associated with releasing something that wasn't as well received as they anticipated it would be? Who knows? I've often wondered about making films that were in color into b/w offerings. The Metaluna Mutant from This island Earth being a prime example. The only thing I can think of is the promo photos were all b/w.

It still just blows my mind how badly the ****ed up the paint on the base. I keep coming back to look into getting this because it goes with the Jason/Freddy premium formats and I just can't. Maybe if they knocked $100 off the price for cheaping out.

Todays event got a huge score!!!! My Nag ps 78 signed by carpenter, John and my 1/3 PCS statue as well as John and his wife own a comic company. Hope you enjoy the pics. Great score again, last week was Ray Park Score!!! Now this week Carpenter.

Someone received the silver screen Michael Myers statue and it didn't have the sculpted hair as advertised.

I hate to say this but man does that look terrible. I did not like the 1/4th so this even looks worse.

Ant Adams from PCS confirmed on Facebook that the scultped hair was a listing mistake by SS

Ah OK. I can see the confusion as the prototype pics have sculpted hair(which looks better IMO).

The most pointless statue I've seen. Like, give us an awesome Karloff in b and w. WTF is Myers in black and white? Ridiculous and clearly those 1/4th ain't moving like they thought they would. That's what happens when your proto is awesome and then your production piece stinks

Agreed, saw this coming from a mile away!!! Not the new black and white one. But the movement of those other ones.

Bought this through Sideshow right before it went on Waitlist. I know there's quite a bit of hate surrounding this piece but I'm actually happy with it. With some futzing the hair looks much better. Still not perfect but better.

I decided to completely redo the hair on this piece

I decided to be very brave and repaint the mask. I have a little more to do but it’s almost there.
