The bar has been raised a morbillion percent.

The top of the helmet looks weird considering that is supposed to be hair, I don't think the simple animated look carries over as well when matched with the stock hot toys starlord helmet

Hot Toys Morbius - 1/6 Scale It’s Morbin’ Time Collectible Figure

I would pick this up especially if we get an animated HS of Tchalla. Great homage piece it has the potential to be.

I ordered the What If Ultron. Doubt this is something I need. Cool they are doing it. I would prefer more zombie figures.

It looks like someone at HT didn't parse the fact that the top of his head is his hair, and not a piece of the helmet? Like they just saw this image and said "got it."



I know it's animated stylized, but come on...

In the "coming soon" previews listed yesterday they had a black panther and this guy, is this all we should expect or is an actual black panther figure coming?

The Black Panther figure is from Mech Strike or whatever, it's an armorized Black Panther.

Yeah based on the picture I’m not a fan even though I love T’Challa and I love Starlord, based on the photo something is not working for me. I’m not sure it is the issue with the top of the helmet as others have mentioned or if it is something more for me.

That said, I am extremely interested in seeing an armorized Black Panther suit!!! Have you seen a picture of it?

An animated sculpt could make this fun, as it is it doesn't look like anything I couldn't bash together out of scraps

It just looks boring. Nothing really stands out on the figure. I was hoping they would follow through on the zombie Captain America.

I had a chuckle at those wet noodle arms.

Actual Star Lord from Thor4 would have been preferable, honestly. This is an easy pass for me. Derivative characters do nothing for me.

I know there are people "out there" who really loved Starlord T'Challa, but I rank that as my least favorite What If episode. Probably my least favorite bit of the MCU as a whole, really.
They decided to elevate T'Challa by absolutely burying Peter Quill. It was a complete character assassination, and an unnecessary one at that.
I could go on and on, but it's mostly just more of the same. Easy pass for me.
