OK, I just received $3 in rewards as a "thank you for participating". I did enter today's giveaway but otherwise I haven't participated in anything. Could I have been selected for one of those random reward giveaways that I assumed to be fiction?
You must be a random email rewards recipient. I entered today's giveaway as well. All I got was an entry confirmation email. Congrats!

Let's wait and see what the total is at the end. I believe even if this continues, we're still on track for significantly lower than last year.
do you have the year over year stats? not sure why i care, since i can't go back in time lol

I looked back in the thread. Because not everyone got the same lottery amounts, some who participated every day got as low as $74 and some were as high as $148 (thereabouts). I believe that is without $5 for registering for last year's event and also without any trivia wins.

Cole should have those...
Since they stopped releasing timed or limited-redemption codes in summer 2021, my code tracking has been sporadic at best. I still log all of the RP amounts I am able to collect, but I have not even tried to catalog all the ridiculous ways they've given out RP money since then, like wheel spins during live streams, codes randomly emailed out, etc.

Yeah, this year the rewards are nowhere near as high as last year. Last year including the $5 registration I scored $152, including lottery wins of $20, $15, 3 x $10, $7 and 8 x $5 and several $4 and $3 ones. NYCC rewards were better too (all $5 or higher lotteries) but after that (Spooktacular) they went down to $1 to $3 lotteries with maybe one $5 thrown in at the end.
Last year's Sideshow Con was definitely the outlier in terms of rewards; no doubt a conscious decision by Sideshow to try to give our collecting habits a jump start after the impact of Covid over the previous 1-1/2 years.
