Thanks. yeah I've seen those but the only thing I can paint are walls lol.

I bought a parted out Sideshow DX Luke Jedi head (from the recent release) some time ago just to check it out in-hand but didn't love the look. Recently I discovered I had enough parts left over from this HT DX set and my parts bins to make a sandstorm Luke.

The sandstorm look I like but it's always seemed a bit of a waste covering up the HT Luke head (and even face) and Jedi/barge outfit which really deserves full display.

I fitted an extra HT ROTJ hairpiece to this Sideshow DX head (you can kinda see it even with the hood up) and it improves the SSC head quite a bit - the SSC hair is not great. But the SSC head's eyes are ever so slightly "googly" so these sandstorm goggles seemed like a natural cover-up of that issue.

That looks awesome Tali! I’m jealous! I need more space to display a Sandstorm Luke. I may have to move things around to keep up with you.

I really need to do another Luke census/inventory... I worry about how many Lukes I now have.

I'm currently concerned how many orange outfit Lukes I have - I believe I will end up with a helmet-off and helmet-on Luke X-wing, and a Luke Dagobah arrival, an ATAT attack/grapple gun Luke, and a hero display helmet-off snowspeeder Luke plus Dak. (that conveniently leaves out the Wedge snowspeeder outfit and Echo base orange-suit tech I'm mulling.)

When you even have Lukes like "medical center Luke" plus multiple Dagobah Lukes ("sitting with Yoda" Luke plus backpack Luke...) you know you're in trouble.

All I can say is thank goodness I don't collect any lines other than Indy (which has very few items in 1/6) and OT SW. But even then, I'm well north of 130 figs at this point.

I currently only have 12 Lukes. 4 from each OT movie. 138 actual 1/6 figures plus robots like threezero transformers and Bandai Voltron Not to mention my super7 Thundercats and some Robotech and He-Man thrown in for good measure.

Might have to get rid of other lines to make room for more Star Wars but I haven’t been able to bring myself to do it.

- Luke Bespin DX07 (clean w/pistol)
- Luke Bespin DX07 (saber, battle damaged)
- Luke sitting with Yoda (heavily dremeled torso for sitting pose)
- Luke seamless arms for Yoda backpack and "raising X-wing" arm force pose
- Luke medical center (part Bespin, part orange jumpsuit, for display with 21B)
- Luke ATAT attack with grappling gun and saber
- Luke snowspeeder hero - helmet in-hand, with custom Dak
- Luke Dagobah arrival (orange suit - wet)
- Luke snowspeeder laying in snow after ATAT destruction (this may go in eventual 1/6 snowspeeder)
- Luke Hoth (heavily modded SSC)

This is very worrying, I've culled my collection down to my favourite figures and I've got three pre-orders coming next year. I told myself I'd take it easy and pace myself but this Luke figure is making things difficult!

Personally, I see Luke from ROTJ when I look at those pics. Is it the best likeness? Perhaps not, but I like what I see in the preview. They got the overall look right and I've seen figures with rather awful likenesses before. For example, HT can't seem to get Harrison Ford to look right. I used to own the DX Bespin Luke, the likeness wasn't perfect but I think the essence of the actor/character was achieved.

But… does anyone have baby Luke!?
(I’m sure there’s a version of ObiWan that comes with him)

Finally… the DX23 headsculpt is so good especially now that I’m looking at them all together. There’s no doubt it’s the best one available. I have the Snowspeeder hairpiece somewhere with the original ROTJ headsculpt. I swapped the two b/c I wanted the ever so slightly better paint apps on the straight forward drooling face

I want a ‘drowned rat’ Luke from the Death Star trash compactor, complete with dianoga - the old school Kenner toy, like the nod SSC did to the Hammerhead staff as an exclusive

Got my DX24 in yesterday. Did a swap to see what it would look like. Not bad. Not sure it will pop all the way on and didn’t want to force it just incase it’s a different adapter.

Love your set up generally. Nice and clean and love the 1:1 saber and (vhs?). Quality.

Thank you. Yup. Remastered VHS before the Special Editions. I want to print out an old VHS cover and wrap it around this one.

Not a great pic, but trying to contribute more to the board, picture wise. Current set up for the OT shelf. R2 will move to his own shelf whenever 3PO is released. My ANH Vader is currently with EP3 Anakin and Obiwan. All other star wars figs are still in their boxes.

Luke is the deluxe version with DX23 head and hands on display stand from the incinerator trooper I believe and custom nameplate by @EVILFACE . I wanted the stand to sort of match with the other OT figures, but I like that it’s darker since he’s in all black. I do have the base from the original ROTJ version in case I want to do the Jabba’s palace look

out of all the black suit luke which one is the best? to me vgm429 sculpt looks better than the jungle and yoda set.

Was messing with these guys just a few days ago while having coffee.
