1/6 Animated Clone Wars Anakin & Obi-Wan Sixth Scale Figures!

They look pretty cool. Headsculpts are inevitably softer and Obi Wan’s robes look way less crisp & orderly than his proto but overall they have a pretty great presence together. Throw Snips into the mix and you’ll have a quality trio for display. I’m still on the fence about this line. Haven’t committed to Yoda yet. Some Sith action would really help me to invest. Gimme Dooku, Ventress, Savage etc!! Hell, throw some Nightsisters and an truly animation accurate Cad Bane in there while you’re at it.

Walmart quality but I cant say I was very hopeful anyway I guess it was good to keep my expectations in check and on the plus side I will not have to spend more money

Woof! Looks like something you’d buy at the Disney Store for $20.

Gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they can't **** up such a simple cartoon stylized sculpt and they manage to do that. Jesus Christ man.

Sick of these companies and their ****** downgrades charging more money than they're worth. Either price these figures accordingly or improve your production quality ffs.

Gosh, usually you expect to see shrinkage vertically, but that's one of the first times I can recall that I've seen a head shrink horizontally.

That's especially bad on these figures considering how lanky they are, it really ruins the proportions of the figure.

Obi’s tunic literally makes him look like he’s on a regular 1/6 body instead of the supposed new bodies they developed for these figures. Bad tailoring.

I guess I can look on the bright side now that I'm saving money, but I'm not into this hobby to save money. Really disappointing. They look like eBay knock offs.

This is so disappointing to see. The significant detail about the Clone Wars 3D models is that they have very hard edges in all areas (cheekbones, nose, chin, hair, basically everywhere), which creates very appealing, sharp transitions in the facial planes. Softening the sculpt, therefore softening the edges this much completely destroys everything that makes those characters so distinctive in style.

The Anakin figure looks so freakish with that tiny head. I feel like someone might be able to save the Obi with a custom paint job.

I like that they ended the stream showing a slideshow of the prototype stills. Try to make people forget what you just showed them.

Sounds like they’re announcing more in this line this week or next. Can’t wait to see who gets maimed next.

I hope to hell Hot Toys hasn’t stopped on figures like their own Clone Wars Obi so Sideshow could give us this crap.

The Dude is a pretty good release. One of their best I would say.

I'm disappointed for anyone that was really looking forward to these but like Chris said, yeah absolutely typical. Hopefully a lot of people held off on ordering because this is inexcusable.

You put more thought and energy into writing that than they did for the production version of the figures.

Sounds like I shouldn't have any issue getting my figures from their first batch!

These are maybe worth $150.

not worth the HT price, especially with how soft those head sculpts came out.

As someone who isn't interested in buying and therefore doesn't have a biased opinion, these look god awful.

sideshow just needs to focus on being a distributor at this point. they are just out of depth in terms of actually making products both on the statue and figure side. how are you going to try to charge the same as hot toys or other top tier statue manufacturers when you produce trash like this on a constant basis?
