My Cockpit arrives today. I can’t wait I am super excited I have all the OG figures just need Obi Wan Ben be one at some point. I’m wondering if I can just swap the head and put it on mythos figure with different body.

I did a repaint of my Millennium Falcon cockpit. I just couldn't live with the dark grey color. Also the screw opens I covered with some flat metal, (think they are earring backs). I've never done anything this big and had to do all weathering with an airbrush. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I used reference photos from the actual studio model and tried my best to replicate it.

Hi,
Can you maybe share what color did you use for this repaint?
This looks so much better that the Jazzinc dark gray...

Janming while escaping the empire 😆 I love this piece.

I love this thing in theory, but I have a feeling it would dominate the room in virtually any collection. This thing is huge, and if displayed properly, would most likely need it's own display stand, potentially customed designed, which could then double the price of this piece. But, then again, having something like that in my home would be completely awesome

I think the only forumite we have who could find room for this admittedly super-cool piece in their collection would be the legendary Darth Dennis.

Maybe a couple others. But most of us..... I dunno.

I think there are more than a few here who have the jazzinc MF cockpit - whether they have room or not ;)

There was a vid that had the HT Falcon 'living room' area. Where they played chess and hung out? Is there a thread for that on this forum?

it SHOULD be in this thread.
You may need to scour it.
I remember it was shown a year or 2 after the cockpit was first announced, and I think at one of the Asian cons.
There was Han at his console sitting in the chair and then the rest were in that living quarters.

Holy Sith, Hot Toys is making a gigantic sixth scale Millennium Falcon

A proper passion for all things Star Wars is by no means a cheap hobby. With enough merchandise to choke a Death Star trench before the Rebels arrive and price tags that’ll cost you an arm and a leg quicker than a surly Jedi in a bar confrontation, Star Wars will test the monetary mettle of all who embrace the ways of the merchandising Force.

Hot Toys may have just come up with the ultimate benchmark for an adventure in time and space, as the company has unveiled their biggest collectible to date: A sixth-scale Millenium Falcon. No really, look at the size of this thing, via Sideshow:

Announced at Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong, the Hot Toys Millennium Falcon will measure a whopping 18 feet long, which in Queen’s metrics works out to almost 5.5 meters. That’s…literally the size of 23 ping pong tables, although my maths may be slightly off on this one. In addition to all the outside details that feature on this replica of the ship that’s based on its first appearance, there’ll also be a ton of internal space that fans can play with if they happen to own any of the Hot Toys sixth scale figures that’ll fit inside of it.

Right now, you can get pretty much any Star Wars figure from Hot Toys, as the manufacturer has produced Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and Extra Grouchy Alec McGuinness figures in the past. Inside the replica, you’ve got the infamous cockpit, the internal chill space and enough lights for the replica to be confused for an overzealous American Xmas tree.

As for the price? If you have to ask, chances are that you can’t afford this behemoth. Next stop: A petition to get Hot Toys to construct a sixth scale Death Star. That’s no moon.

After repainting the Jazzinc Falcon cockpit I am very satisfied. The overall impression is great.
