Speaking of Warhammer 40k, I'd love a 1/6 figure but I'm sure it will be $$$. The McFarlane ones will do for now - at least we don't have to worry about accurate face sculpts!
A 1/6th WH40K figure would cost 2K or something. I'd probably still buy it though. I'd cut out everything else to get a great 1/6th Spesh Muhreen (any Legion). GW is absolutely mental though. Didn't they ask 250€ for that 6" Bandai Primarch some months back? It's downright ridiculous. Even those little 1/18th figures are overpriced at ~70$ each. But I may break down and buy a few. WH40K has great aesthetics, but damn if it's not a mismanaged property.

Yeah, those Bandai 1/12 Space Marines were a rip off. It was expensive in USD, but they then doubled the US price to "convert" to Australian dollars when the usual conversion rate is 1.33. Add in the excessive postage cost and it was a hard pass.

A part of me is glad that I wasn't sucked into another line, but it does sting me that I can't get any good WH40K merch unless I pay nonsensical prices.

These guys are doing 1/6 scale Warhammer figures. Very slowly:

I remember that from quite a bit. You have to search high and low to find a place to buy it from, and after shipping and everything it comes to more than 300€. Definitely not worth it for what they're offering.

The way I see it is that I'm past caring. Oversaturation, poor products being put out, whatever the case, I'm done. So I know that if I go overboard, I'll regret it, because 10 years from now I'll care even less. So I'm sticking with as frugal representations as possible, based on what sets off my nostalgia the hardest. I was planning a huge X-Men display but, honestly, I hardly care anymore. So considering Cyclops is practically the MC of the franchise, him plus a Phoenix Jean, and then Xavier and Magneto will be more than enough for me. I have too many things I'm interested in to be going deeper. Just a Ghost Rider alone will cost me 1K with how prices are going if they give him his bike. So it's really about choosing the most important bits.

I'm not sure about buying other brands, but these new 1/18 WH40K figures are very tempting. A proper Modular Sanctum Sanctorum and X-Mansion would tempt me too, but I haven't bought any Lego in about a decade, and they don't really put out anything I really "need". I might break down and get the Mezco Doom. But more or less I'm trying to stick to 1/6th only. It's hard enough buying the Omnis when they're going for ~100€ now.

I just hope they branch out more as time goes on. I'd hate for them to turn into HT 2.0 but with them milking DC while HT milks Marvel & SW. They should grab some big name videogame IPs like God Of War, something like Conan, such things. They're raising the game and such pieces shouldn't be wasted on random D-List characters, and I say that as someone who's got a lot of such favourites. Such 500$ tags should be reserved for a Sherlock Holmes and a Dracula, figures with clothing and style plus importance that'd benefit from the "museum" treatment.
I have said it before I would buy both Conan from the first film (Arnold version) and a Frazetta Conan in a heartbeat. I even want classic characters like The Phantom, and The Shadow made I also want to see Hellboy done both film, and comic versions would be amazing.

I'd only be in for a classic Conan, but yeah, we need more variety and hopefully InArt will deliver. I'm not holding my breath for a comic accurate Dredd or something, but I hope they get around to making something like Gladiator or something of that sort. I'm tired of the state of 1/6th.

100% agree I feel stupid for not getting comic Dredd from ThreeA when it first came out so I hope we get something. I'm getting a bit tired of it all too here is hoping they get more movie liesences rather then copy HT. It will be funny if HT starts trying to make the same stuff as InArt just to spite them.

It says on the Inart website that shipping is free from anywhere around the world, but I don’t suppose if anyone knows how much import duties would cost to get through UK customs? ..Or maybe if you could ask Inart themselves to mark it down as a lower value parcel so you don’t get slapped with the outrageous import fees? I really can’t see Inart doing that tho. It’s just such a shame as £500 is a lot of money without having to pay the crazy customs prices.

I was too scared of the pleather myself. Im hopeful we'll one day get a good Dredd. I'd be fine with a Stallone version too. But yeah, they need to offer a more diverse selection, otherwise they'll just become HT 2.0, making Meras and Penguins but for 500$. Even if they stick with just WB licenses for the time being, there's still stuff to be made from all over. A Keanu JonCon, Troy, Matrix, more stuff from DUNC and LotR, Blade Runner; there's material to work with even if they don't go after something non-WB (but I hope they will truth be told).

Most IA figures are exclusive to the Chinese market due to rights-issues. I'm not sure if QS ships worldwide in general. I could be wrong, but that's the reason why folks here are looking at distributors like OneSixthKit. In my neck of the woods the tax is always ~30% no matter where it's coming from.

I have it, but I was open to this one of they'd done a sculpted hair version like they did with Joker
To me the Joker one wasn't the best choice the single release should have had rooted hair. That is the point of InArt's figures with longer hair or unique styles although we'll be getting sculpted hair for The Batman's Bruce Wayne sculpt they might have the option for rooted as well. It just adds to realism plus they won't be using doll hair like HT has.

For a company to misspell a name is really odd. I know Asmus did it, but they are a very low tier company. I also know it's not their primary language. Is no one paying attention? I'm glad they corrected it, but it wasn't caught internally. I know it's a minor quibble, but this isn't discount store figure.
