Looks awesome! I passed on the Mando version in anticipation of this release. I’ll be interested to see a comparison of the bike and figure.

The way the fern fronds are packaged made me laugh, as did the presenter’s frequent use of the phrase “proprietary keyholes”.

Yeah and I'm not sure that guy understands what the word "proprietary" actually means.

From sixth scale group.. Apparantly a big downgrade on the final from the prototype

Well, your friends seem to pick really blown out pictures. Granted there's less weathering but there's more there than that picture on the left shows.




It is a shame it couldn't look like the proto.

With each release, HT is transforming from a high end company to a mediocre company in my eyes. It's not the product quality but the lack of so-called attention to detail.

They're churning out so much product and they're so far behind with releases it's no surprise. HT quality and detail plateaued a long time ago.

HT is lazy, we all know that. Prices are crazy, quality not so much. I am keen on Queen studios and others. HT needs competition, it's years late.

Will be interesting to see a side-by-side review of this fig with the Mando version - I don't think the ROTJ helmet is a 100% repaint of the Mando helmet, but it's hard to tell (I don't have the Mando version in-hand)

The ROTJ helmet hood looks to have a bit more curve on the top and be slightly thinner than the Mando version on the outer edges. The Mando version seems more boxy and squared, plus a bit thicker.

Really hard to tell for sure though - the Biker Scout helmet gets easily distorted in pics.

What do you mean?

I’ll wait for the review videos before I pass final judgement, but it does look like a downgrade from the prototype (shocking). I was going to get two bike sets and 2 singles, but now I’m not sure, especially with space being at a premium. This was my most anticipated release and once again hot toys gets lazy. Not much left that I really want to order and I doubt I’ll be interested in anything shown at the con.
