None of the figures scheduled for the second half of this year are going to be even remotely on time. If they are only six months late we will be lucky.

They may put a rush on Mando season 2. No one else.

Yeah, I think they’ll rush whatever Mando 2 stuff needs to come out to beat season 3, and I think they’ll prioritize the two Bad Batch guys to beat any cancellations due to their new look in season 2 of that show.

Outside of that I’d be surprised if anything else Star Wars releases this year. This line feels so dead right now.

called sideshow for help with something else, figured I’d ask if there’s an updated eta on bo katan while i had them on the phone.

the rep said that their system actually shows that this still should be coming in soon / has started to ship , at least in small amounts (so i guess the first batch).

take it with a grain of salt but hopefully this means we’ll actually see final photos and a release soon, not months of delay. i kind of find it hard to believe and wouldnt treat it as confirmation, but id rather hear something like this than that the projected date is jumping to oct2022 or something.

My guess is that rep is reading from a script. I would love to be wrong and have her release soon.

yep, not too convincing. for what it’s worth they did take a moment to check their inventory before answering, but still would take it with a grain of salt.

really hoping this releases soon though, every night i have that hope in the back of my head that I’m going to refresh social media and see that it’s out…
 
If this was imminent, I think we would be seeing production photo's leaking in from Japan by now. My guess is that this is delayed until August September....at the earliest.

While this is still my most anticipated figure, I also got started for a commission on a life-size display earlier this year and it’s already nearing the finish line. Just two more things to go and it’s completely done.

I’d imagine this will probably release this month considering it was supposed to be a 2Q release and Hot Toys did mostly did themselves out of that massive backlog they had.
