Yeah I posted it on here a while ago, but here you go

In my opinion, THAT is how they should have been painted by the factory and I hope future female characters have the correct make-up. Makes a HUGE difference. The left pic looks like she just got up and didn't put on make-up, whereas the one on the right looks like she did.

Wish I was brave enough to attempt head sculpt repaints. I think the stock looks pretty good but the touched up version looks better.

I'll always take the first two seasons over the third. Could never get into the Xindi stuff.
I like the Xindi as a concept, but the third season seemed like they were desperate for some of that DS9 critical acclaim, but didn't understand what made DS9 great.

Damn. T'pol looking good. Which uniform would you prefer her in when Exo-6 tackles her? The orange maybe for me to stand out from the rest of the crew. But the blue looks great. Would love the mirror universe of her too.

Registering a vote for the magenta version, with the 4th-season Starfleet details (crew patch + science division trim)!

But all I really care about is that she have her 3rd/4th season look, especially since she's had no figures at all in that style at any scale. And I would 1000% throw down if they put out a variant in a proper Starfleet duty uniform from the alternate timeline seen in "Twilight".

If you get a Twilight T'Pol, then I want a Twilight Archer - the way he looked in the beginning of the episode when getting out of bed, with naked chest and chest hair ;)

Honestly though, that was a great episode. Made me write a fanfiction about a normal day of life for them down on the planet. What a nightmare.

One year on from Data arriving! A good excuse for a photo! 🖖

Wow….after seeing what Janeway COULD have been I am feeling a little hesitant to continue buying all these guys. I fully understand the constraints Exo-6 is under, but now I fear the speed at which these are being pumped out takes away from the figures. I know getting 1/6 Trek is a miracle at this point, but it’s still a significant investment. I have zero customizing skill so if this is something that’s necessary to bring out a true likeness, this is a real bummer.

No. Nothing relate to the quality. Remember my employees are first time painters. They are doing the best on any paintup.

WE DO NOT SELL INFERIOR FIGURES.

WE DO NOT SHOW PAINT UP THAT WE CANT PAINT.

Do not accuse us of trading the best we can do with speed.

This place is really toxic. No wonder no producers will want to participate.

Compare us with other producers. Do not compare us with custom paint. Is 100% unfair to compare us with custom paintup.

You need find custom figures producers. We are not custom figure house. Wrong place.

I think the bottom line with Exo-6 is that the end product will be as good or better than what is advertised. I have FC Picard and the production paint work is noticably better than than what was shown in the prototype photos. Based on photos others have posted, the same seems to be true of all the other released figures, also. So if you like the prototype, you can by with confidence that you will get something as good or better.

Furthermore, the production paint work is markedly better than figures I own from Damtoys, ThreeZero, and Sideshow.

For a company that's a year old I think that's pretty excellent.

For a company that’s basically brand new I think EXO-6 does a really good job. Especially factoring in the price. The cut and sew of the uniforms is good and the sculpts look pretty on point. Paint is the only thing that could be better in a couple instances but they’re still good overall.

Ugh this is why I feel so hesitant sharing my repaints on here. The last thing I want is for them to be turned against Exo-6 like this. Especially when I do similar paint tweaks on all kinds of figures, even many by HT.

I can understand why you are hesitant, but there is a custom thread in here for that reason. Don't let some people who are never satisfied keep you from sharing. Even if you don't share, they'll find a reason to complain.

There is not a figure produced, mass or custom that is perfect and I am completely fine with that. The obsession with all the details being exact and head sculpts looking like an exact shrunk down version of the actor sucks the fun out of this hobby.

I appreciate getting it as close as possible, but there is a point when nitpicking just sounds like people who need to relax.

Totally agree that no figure is perfect. None. I collect because I love toys and find them to be works of art that bring joy and appreciation in my life. I am currently spending my summer revisiting TOS episodes I haven’t watched in years…rewatched “Balance of Terror” last night and remembered meeting Mark Lenard in an elevator during a Con in Atlanta. Great times. I don’t know…I love to sit and look at my figures and it brings such a rush of gratitude that I am alive at this point in time. I feel sorry for the collector who is so distraught because his Janeway doesn’t look like a professional custom. I hope he finds fulfillment with something else.

Hi Nanjin, can I go on a tangent with you for a minute, artist to artist?
I'm a writer. I have a master's in creative writing. My thesis novel had a violent final chapter, and my thesis director (who is a bestselling novelist) said it wasn't action packed enough and I should punch it up. So I did. Then, during my thesis defense, another author said he thought the ending was too cartoonishly violent.
Fast forward one year. I send in my novel to a publisher. It's rejected. Several months later, I happen to meet the president of that company at a writer's conference. I pitch my novel to him, he says send it in to his company, I laugh and say they already told me no. He gives me his personal email and says send it directly to him. So I do. Two months later he makes me an offer for publication.
In that offer, he says he thinks the novel could use an epilogue because it ended very abruptly. Of course, I'd written an epilogue, and my thesis committee felt it was extraneous and I should take it out.
So, the point is, everyone thinks they have just the BEST suggestions and opinions. But they don't. You just do you, and let the money do the talking.
