I did see that. What made you finally part with it?
I think it was mostly that I got the feeling although it was a great sculpt, and Likeness I actually felt like I prefered Inigou V3 more as I felt the likeness from that is more Raiders. The Buffy definitley is also but I felt like it was more TOD somewhat LC then Raiders. So I opted to get Inigou V3 now. Plus I hated how the connector for Buffy's sculpt was very tight so the ball joints on the body I used didn't fit well. I had to always force it down which scared me because I felt that I could break the sculpt if not careful.

I agree with you. I also found that the smallish size of the Buffy sculpt made it better suited for a jacketless Indy -- which is why my Buffy is currently on my ToD Indy.

That particular picture used in TonTon's Indy head chart is definitely the most realistic Raiders Indy head I've seen... but I could never get it to photograph like that myself.

I feel like you can only catch the likeness in certain lighting. Sadly as much as Mike did a fantastic job with the paint it had a slight paler pinkish color at times it actually has the same skin color to the Han solo body from Solo movie.

I have my doubts with a new hot toys Indy with the movie coming out next year. Because of the fact that we haven’t gotten anything sideshow or Hot Toys related of Harrison ford since like 2017. I have no idea if it’s a likeness thing or not, but it’s definitely weird that we haven’t seen anything Han related from them, so I have my doubts with Indy

I was in the same boat with my doubts. I don't think he or harrison ford are popular in china

Welp, jumped the gun on that one unfortunately. I'm heart broken to report that mine is still in progress. At least I know what his modified Mj's look like! Congrats to whoever's that is! LOL
Yeah, at the very least you can be stoked knowing what you’re getting. That’s the best Indy paint I’ve seen yet.

A couple sculpts need to be added eventually (Gesus, Rocco) but this is a good guide of many of the modern sculpts.

Who's Buffy? That's the only one I'm not familiar with. Looks great.

Even with all the years and all the miles, that old SSC head still looks pretty damn decent with SS's paint for such an old sculpt.

And that WGP smiling still gives me the weeby-jeebies and the HT head still looks like he belongs in a Duran Duran video. 😬
:lol

Do you have a pic of yours? I must have missed that one when it came and went.

I do find that some of these heads have a great standard pic that gets reposted a lot but when you see it in other pics or in-hand it doesn't look as good. Even pretty middling heads often have a "sweet spot" of angle and lighting that makes it look far better than it is.

I'm still blown away by how good the WGP heads looked as 3D sculpts versus how they came out finished/painted. I learned a lot on that one.

It is very difficult to find that specific lighting/angle with a cellphone camera that the sculptors or painters often use as their "public" photo. The above is as close as I ever got.

I regret not buying this one , I am glad I have my custom but if I can find one for a good price I would jump on it.

Found a pose I am mostly happy with for Bellosh and for fun some Indy pics in natural lighting.

Temple of Doom progress last night. Still have work to do but some progress. I think the modified DT Deckard sculpt with the HT hat makes a great TOD Indy. Sculpt is sitting a little too high and Lighting/cell phone definitely aren't doing it justice*

I was toying with the idea of ditching the HT hat ribbon and using tape or something else to make a new one. I think the ribbon throws the HT hat off a little.
