So, this will be my first Superman, luckily I was able to grab one of those heads from Kit, it just arrived today…

Granted, I don’t have the stock head to compare with, but I honestly think this looks pretty good

The paint and detailing look pretty good to me from my amateur eye.

It's a great sculpt. The paint compared to Hot Toys is slightly soft. If the Hot Toys head is 10/10 for paint this is probably an 8/10

I took a chance on this because the first four pictures look really good. Normally when I see pictures of the OSK sculpt I think they honestly look terrible—like the ones that follow the first four. But again the first four photos look great, so I’ll take the chance on it. I’m still worried by the fact that most often the photos I see of it look bad.

I should have gotten this when they were so till available.

Does anyone know if any of the ones up on eBay are legit? There are so many listings for this with stock photos that I'm afraid they're fakes.

eBay is a gamble obviously, you can always ask for extra photos and see what they provide.

It looks very good in person,not as good on photos. While Hot Toys paint is superior , OSK sculpt is still my fav.

Pulled the trigger and bought the "loose" Knightmare Batman from toysbuyingagent because, yes, I'm impatient like that

. I'll still keep my order from SS because I want the black suit superman also. So eventually I'll be selling the KM Batman from that two pack I receive from SS since I don't need 2 of them. Not sure when SS will be shipping these out but if anyone is interested in buying it, send me a message that way we can make arrangements

Must be. Even though I have loads of Hot Toys this is the first one I have ever ordered new and got from Sideshow.
Mine shows DHL HK too. So it'ss coming via Hot Toys and skipping Sideshow?

This happened with my qs001, mando & now this all shipped directly via hk-i had mando for at least a month before people in the states were getting theirs from sideshow

I saw some posts a few pages back discussing best way to achieve flight/aeriel poses without damaging suits and thought I'd share this method I've been using for a while now.

It involves using something to block the gap in the Hot Toys clamps (I used pieces of a zip tie) so it make the clamp opening bigger, allowing you to rest the figure on top of the arms instead of the arms clamping down on the sides of the figure.

There are 2 gaps you can block as shown in the pictures. The vertical gap (2nd pic) will make the opening bigger while the horizontal gap (3rd pic) will make a smaller opening. I used a big piece of zip tie in the pics to show it more clearly.

In the fifth pic you can clearly see Superman's torso in the clamp with a ton of space remaining, so there is zero clamp force at the sides!
So your figures will be gently resting on top of the arms.

Naturally with heavier figures, the weight itself will leave very light marks where its resting on the arms over time. But I have done this method with BVS Batman which is a heavy figure, I left it in the same aerial pose for months and the marks were very light, most importantly this will not damage suits whatsoever.
