...I'm tempted. An Ozymandias is one of my grails, and the one character I'd want to represent Watchmen, so I'd definitely buy an official one. The problem is that I'm not sure if we'll ever get such a figure. The best chance I've got is InArt continuing with their WB properties and going backwards, and thus making some SynderMen figures. I doubt anyone's going to tackle the property again for us to have another chance, so... I don't know. It looks great, but I'm always hesitant with 3rd party figures. I'll probably get it, and if an official one happens 7 years from now, I'll just have to display two Ozzies in different places.

Yeah I'd just go for this one, it looks great. I don't see official Watchmen figures happening at all honestly, it's not a very big movie.

Pull the trigger. Even IF you ever got an official figure, by that point it would likely cost you $300+ which would be ridiculous.

The comic is a classic, but it's not really toyetic, and it can't really be adapted. Maybe in the far future they'll try again or something, but as it stands, even if I'm averse to 3rd parties (I like the official stamping, I'm a drone like that), I'll probably get it. Something like, say, PotC, even if it's currently on the ice, is a big enough IP for me to hold out hope for an official Davy Jones, and I'm legitimately expecting InArt to make some Blade Runner figures considering they're only working with WB ATM. But Watchmen? Nah, longshot. Again, It's a classic in a specific medium, but it doesn't have large appeal in the general market which limits its merchandising options. This will be the best I'll be able to get for quite sometime, so I'll probably jump on it now rather than lament the loss later.

All figures cost me upwards of 300€ now, so it's a moot point. It's why I'm cutting down my wishlists; I can't justify paying top dollar for my favourites, and then dish out the same amount for random characters just to fill up a cabinet. Even if I had the money and space, it'd be "insulting" to the figures I actually care about.

I know that if I miss out I'll regret it, so I'll pull the trigger here just to be safe. If an official one happens down the road, if another adaptation happens, whatever else, great. But if not, this will fill the spot in my collection nicely. The pleather for the armour worries me, but I hope everything will be fine once I get to displaying him in the not-so-near future...

PS: It's funny how a 160$ 3rd party fig looks better to me than the recent HT Thor. I suppose it comes down to customing; the more "toyetic" the design the less it fits the scale and style. At least to my eyes. I figure that's why I like "guys in suits" type of figures.

Preordered. I love Watchmen. I have to collect this set, that's not even in doubt for me. I have limited display space and already rotate figures out. This is just part of that now.

He looks great! I really like both the masked and unmasked versions of the head sculpt.

He looks fantastic - that head sculpt! Or two. Outfit looks great as well, Soosoo are definitely up there these days - have been for a while actually. Really hope we get a complete line of these - love that film. 3 down, 3 to go 🤞🏻

looks good overall, but something looks a little off for me in the proportions and the unmasked headsculpt. Congrats to those who are collecting this line. I was originally all in but after watching the movie not long after Comedian was revealed, I realized I didn't like the movie as much as I thought I did.

Looking at the description over at TNS, the figure apparently really comes with two headsculpts; one masked, one unmasked.

The Collectible Figurine special features:-One(1)Normal Detailed Head sculpt-One(1)Normal Detailed Head sculpt with masked
-Body with over 28points of articulations-Approximately 32CM tall
-Six (6)pieces of interchangeable palms including:
-One(1)pair of fists
-One(1)pair of relaxed palms
-One(1)pair of opening palms
Costume:
-One(1) suit
-One(1) pair of boots
Accessories
-One(1)figure stand

It fits with them having two HS for other releases, such as Omni-Man, Comedian and the such. But I was wondering if that was the case or if they'd just added the mask as an add-on, and the hairstyles could be changed with a peg or something. Glad to get proper confirmation anyhow. You know, this might actually be useful to me with another figure/project... It's a shame he doesn't have any accesories, but apart from a Bubastis, which would've been a tall order, I can't think of much else. Whatever, no harm done. I'm actually pretty excited for this. It feels good, I have to say, considering most recent HT offerings left me apathetic. Now if only InArt could stop taking their sweet time with their Paul...

PS: I still am scared of the material, but there's nothing to be done about it, as that's the type that was used in the actual film as well. I suppse I'll hope for the best and take as many precautions as I can.

Perhaps he could have come with a bullet catching hand, maybe a tv remote and a big pot of smarm 😄 He’s awesome.

that headsculpt is amazing... overall the figure looks great.

not enough a fan of the character to get him, but anxious to see the rest of the team.

I was thinking a champagne glass maybe, but really the only thing that would've mattered would've been a Bubastis.
Absolutely - a Bubastis would be a great accessory, would make for quite the eye catcher with him within any collection. Soosoo would do an excellent job if they went down that route. Kind of shame they didn’t really thinking about it, both stood there - Oz with champagne glass in hand too 😉

This is exactly what I was thinking. Alas...

PO’d this the second I saw it yesterday in an email from Comic Sanctorum of all places. I’m in for the whole team.
You could have 3 Ozy’s that are all very different looks from significant moments; the heroic rubber suit, snazzy ‘assassin-thwarting’ purple suit with a robe-barrier accessory, and his stealthy ‘comedian-killer’ disguise.
Also, SooSoo released Billy Butcher’s dog separately so Im expecting Bubastis to show up eventually.

My Rorschach is lonely but he’s defending his shelf space well while we wait for the others to get here.
