The ankle and foot can be totally robotic too so he doesn't really have to be totally tip-toed, maybe like he were standing on high heels instead (which RDJ does behind the scenes anyway).

Initially when I saw the figure for order, I thought the gap in the thigh was cause the leg was extended for posing purposes. I thought the legs could pop back up and close the gap for museum poses once it released. Hot Toys got me again.
Stunning figure. Now do I neeeed the Battle Damaged version too?

Not sure. I've been going through the thread just now reading up on the head issue. Personally, I doubt I'll display it with the unmasked head but I still would like to get the better head sculpt.

I think you will get the original. There was a 2 week return window if you wanted to wxchange for the new one.Thats how I remember it anyway.

I believe the discount code expired last night at around 11:30PM. However it is that price right now on Sideshow, I don't know when that will go away though.

That's what I gathered. It's possible that was for the initial production run and the better head sculpt was placed in boxed figures in a later run. I won't know until I have it in hand in December or, someone buys one from Sideshow now, gets theirs and let's us know.
