I and my fellow collector (from the same local collecting group) received our Gothmog figures yesterday. We are both very unhappy with the quality of the figure. I am very disappointed in Asmus right now, the quality is worse than I would expect the 50 USD figure to be. It has so many flaws I can not believe it. Armor pieces don't hold onto the body, I had to reglue them back but they barely hold. Arms and wrists pegs also barely hold, the one with the weapon fall down when the weapon is in it. Unless you make Gothmog look into the ground you can see a neck peg. The armor and outfit are positioned all wrong and the overall body quality is abysmal ...

Images are taken by the fellow collector. I personally was so sad/angry that I did not take a single image, I placed the figure on the stand (the only good thing about this figure) and put it on the display. This is a figure that I would rather throw into the trash or give to a dog if I ever wanted to sell my collection.
Mine from the original run maybe from 2014 only has the weak wrist issue in the weapon holding hand. Apart from that he looks nothing what in these screenshots are being shown, he is almost flawless.

Not a great figure by any stretch- but Gothmog and Guritz were two of the earliest Asmus offerings and the ‘mog rerelease is not a 2.0 upgrade. It’s the same old parts applied in the same old way so expecting anything remotely passable by today’s standards will set anyone up for major disappointment.

Still, as poorly made as they are, they serve their purpose in the display.

Unacceptable......
After Ash, this is so suicidal of Asmus......

I would hope the Moria Orc with bow and arrows, plus any and all Uruk Hai would be beneficial for Asmus to make.

I would love that googly-eyed Moria goblin/orc. Add a part of the Moria hallway columns so that we can pose him climbing up or down, like a roach.

I've always loved this guy. Those EYES! Terrific design.

A couple Moria orcs, three or four Uruks and maybe some Mordor orcs would be great.

We definitely need more orcs. Only have Grishnákh, which is pretty cool. Skipped Gothmog and Guritz, which I'm glad, cause I think they didn't age well. With current Asmus standards, a Moria orc or any Uruk-hai would be fantastic. Honestly, don't care for super-specific orcs, like Azog, Gothmog or even Grishnákh, really would prefer nameless cool orcs, like the one in the last pic. But Lurtz, yeah, I want him.

I'd like a Gorbag and Shagrat ... the Uruk and Orc who get in the tussle that starts the huge fight at Cirith Ungol. Snaga on his warg would also be very cool. (I've always dug how his skull seems to be bolted together.)

Oh, and Azog and Bolg, of course.

If Asmus is already making zombies as background characters, I am sure there is plenty of fodder for that in LOTR. Also, Stormtroopers contributed greatly to HT's success as a company as they are easy to build with variants in great numbers; this should be a no-brainer for Asmus, as long as they are not entangled by license approvals

That would be Sharku!

Can’t forget Ugluk! Loved that toybiz fig as a kid.
The Toybiz line was epic for that time in life.
Was rivalling Hasbro Star wars for me and I was collecting both lines religiously.
In Australia,id first seen them at Kmart, then BigW and even at my local Woolworths grocery store.
Was huge down here!!

But I digress-we need Lurtz stat!!!
