Got mine in early this past week. Great figure and value. Love messing around with it and trying to get him in more dynamic poses. I would highly recommend if you want a stand in for the next 2-3 years until the HT version comes out. I wouldn't mind having both versions down the road either and display the other with the head sculpt.

My glider comes in today. Unfortunately the actual figure has been stuck at a facility 2 hours away from where I live for about a week. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, this is a solid release IMO. Compared to the HT version which cost 150$ more and will only be available in 2 years minimum, I'm super happy with this purchase.
And the stand with the 2 rods allows you to display your Spidey with him. (that`s the ThunderToys version)

I'm hoping that is what happened with mine. It's just odd to see a package be stuck that long when it's only 2 hours away. Thanks for reply!
Did you get two tracking numbers? If you only get the glider, I would call your local facility. Maybe it fell off a line while being processed. I had this happen once, received the item 8 months later.

I did receive two tracking numbers. I'll have to check and see when I get home from work

My Toys Era Fiend arrived today and I am very happy with him. Honestly don't see the need for the Hot Toys one, this is an excellent representation of the character. Love it.
Now I have Goblin, Mysterio, Doc Ock and Vulture - I still need a Spidey!

And....if you buy Toys Era The Foe, the head sculpts fit the body. Funny they called it "The Foe"....(Dafoe...?)

I managed to find this guy (standard, no glider) for a hundred bucks. For that price, sure, I'll display the power rangers goblin next to my upcoming Upgraded Goblin with glider. I wasn't going to spend Hot Toys money to have both, so this is a nice compromise. Looking forward to receiving it.

Anybody know what kinda head/neck pegs this thing uses and if they're at all compatible with Hot Toys' new Goblin figures? Was wondering if I could put the helmet from this figure onto the body of the HT Upgraded Goblin.

It's just your standard head peg. Not sure what the HT figures use. From what I've seen, it seems like they would be compatible.

Yeah I think you are right about the compatibility, however the Hot Toys Goblin helmet is significantly wider than the Toys Era head. Here are pics from Justin’s video I watched yesterday …

Indeed. I suppose what you're getting at is that while the neck pegs are probably compatible, there's a chance that the narrower helmet simply won't fit around the neck, right? I guess I'll find out eventually.

While I do think the Toys Era is a bit too narrow in general, I also wonder how the Hot Toys compares to the original prop vs the No Way Home CGI recreation. The briefly seen No Way Home version had some differences to the original physical prop, and I do wonder how the two versions directly compare in width. The Hot Toys to me appears mostly like 2002 but with a hint of NWH.

I'd love to see more direct comparisons between Toys Era and Hot Toys.

Actually I do think it is possible the Toys Era head might not fit on the Hot Toys body neck, however I think the main issue will probably be that the narrowness of Fiend’s helmet may look even more pronounced when paired with the larger Hot Toys Goblin body. Also I’m not sure how well the colors will match up, it’s hard to tell.

In any event I hope your idea turns out great and that you share some pics with us!

Received my Toys Era Fiend, and for a hundred bucks this aint bad! I'm aware the armor is a bit simplified on this figure compared to the real deal, but I'm happy with the overall presentation for the price I paid. It's more rubbery than I expected, but I should have expected that. I assuming keeping anything bent/creased for too long will cause damage.

And I've received my notice from Sideshow about the Upgraded Goblin, so soon enough I'll get to see how they look together.

The Upgraded look is my preference so that's where the bulk of my money went, but for the (comparably) cheap price I thought it could be fun to pick up the power ranger suit too. I may have them displayed back to back, or maybe I'll box this body and have the NWH Goblin holding or wearing the helmet.

I've got some two tone green/purple paint I've been trying to build up the courage to try airbrushing with, maybe I'll give that a shot on this figure sometime.

What are people's thoughts on the Fiend vs. the HT version, particularly the accuracy of the helmet? I'm just trying to figure out which one to get now that I have Tobey Spider-Man and Thunder Toys Alien Host coming. Both versions (with glider) are up there in price so not sure which to pick.

If both are relatively expensive I would go with the Hot Toys version. I think the helmet is more accurate and the body used by HT looks a bit better proportioned, and the details on the HT costume look a bit sharper.

That said, I’m not trying to dump on the Fiend it is a really nice figure and I do think the sleeves and cuffs look better than on the HT version
