Shocks me how many ****** third party RDJ sculpts I've seen slapped on this on Insta when the stock one is so good. There's this one ghastly looking custom sculpt that has this really weird short, fat hair and it kind of looks like a cadaver. Quite a few folks have that one in use.
 
Really? Really? I will believe this when I have it in my hands.

3 years and counting for this...what a fool I was to have preordered. This is 1 of 2 (Spidey-Verse Miles Morales) of my last preorders for HTs...once those 2 are delivered I think I'm hanging up the HT cape.

I've actually been able to stomach this hobby by not preordering anything and buying it later either with a coupon or second hand. Hot Toys stay in inventory a long time now and they don't fly off the shelves as before.
 
It's crazy to me that HT is still only churning out the Special Editions currently (at least from what I've seen). Seems like the regulars still haven't been released.

Same. I don't normally PO HT stuff anymore either. I only did with this since it was a decent discount.

I'm not done with Hot Toys but I'm done with Hot Toys pre-orders. I have four more left, Spidey-verse Miles, WandaVision Scarlett Witch, Cable, and Loki.

With them staying in stock for so long, it will be easier to enjoy to pick up after release. I will continue to pre-order 3rd party since the wait for those aren't that bad.
 
Mine was supposed to ship yesterday, at this rate it’ll probably ship in June. Which to be honest after a 3 year wait doesn’t make any difference. It will show up at some point🤪🤞🏽
 
I finally e-mailed sideshow about mine. It has been "preparing to ship" after being charge in full for 3 weeks to this day. I've had to wait with "preparing to ship" for other items before for a week or so, but never this long. I see some have shipped from this recent batch, so hopefully they can get the ball rolling on mine
 
I talked to support again. Same answer as last time “So there was an unexpected delay at the port, thats why it is currently in the preparing to ship stage. Once it arrives into the warehouse, we will ship that out you as soon as possible. We apologize for the delay.” I asked why charge people for the figure if it’s not even in the warehouse? “Usually its charged once that item is at the port. So that it provides an easier transition, just in case there are payment issues or anything of that nature.” That to me is something they really need to change. I don’t think It’s ok to say “your item will be in our warehouse in 8 days we will charge on this day” and in reality you get charged but you don’t get the figure for possibly another month or so.

Yeah, I've heard the same song and dance. They clearly have no intention of changing this process.
 
I’m willing to give Hot Toys grace. COVID did a lot of damage in terms of both human suffering and global commerce which will take years to get back on track. To me, preordering builds up a little bit of hype and I like seeing everything I have yet to come when I log into Sideshow. As long as it comes, I don’t mind if it takes it’s time.
 
Just had mine delivered from Sideshow and I have to say, worth every penny and the years of waiting. Beautiful figure. Between this and Pennywise, been a good year for Hot Toys in my opinion.

From my experience, Popcultcha gets it a week or two after it comes in stock at sideshow. I’d be surprised if it’s any sooner than that.
