Again with the tunic under the armor... :slap Not HT fault I guess..

Just like in RO, but then they at least fixed it for the movie. Nobody at Disney gives a crap about continuity or consistency.

But easy fix. I guess Vader switches up his days to look like he actually changes his suit..,

On his daily calender... M W F Sun Under the Armor
T TH Sat Over the Armor..

And I guess he occasionally switches up his lightsaber hilts as well.... :lol

But that damn diaper looking cod piece....:gah:
The tunic under the armour looks 10x better imo.

This doesn't appear to have red lenses.
Or light up chest box either like he should for the show look.

Considering this version of Vader is just a few years after ROTS where he also didn't have the tunic under the armor, I think it makes sense continuity-wise. With Rogue One being pretty much right before ANH, that look should have the tunic over the armor. There's a good like what 15-20 years give or take between the Kenobi series and RO/ANH which is plenty of time for Vader's outfit to change to the RO/ANH look.

Hot Toys could have done better...
They could have, but apparently they need a competing or even 3rd party company to make a potentially better version to get them to then go ahead put effort into their own releases. Seeing that happen with SW characters is far and few between if at all.

I tbough it was said Kenobi is smack dab in the middle between ROTS and ANH. 10 years. So 10 years between Kenobi and ANH.

Could be. I honestly have kept away from any info as I don't want any spoilers. Just going by looks and vibe. They didn't make Ewan look like he's only 10 years away from being as old as Alec Guinness in ANH so my assumption was that this show is closer to ROTS than ANH. I mean I guess it would make sense since Ewan is like 50 (though he doesn't look it IMO) and I think Alec Guiness was in his 60s during ANH, but he's always looked much older than that to me.

Disney could care less about being accurate to anything they didn't create.

They don't even wan to make this. If it was up to them with the original plans the D+ shows would've been all about Rey, Poe, Finn and all their ST crap. They wanted to kill and bury both the OT & PT.

But they lost, and Fandom won. :yess:

But, they probably still screw up with stuff on purpose to stick it to us. :lol

I think I also read somewhere during the run up to the show that it’s implied Vader had multiple suits.

Which makes sense because he runs around like someone who doesn’t care about what happens to their clothes because they have 30 very similar outfits.

Vader on an average Tuesday.

Would really like a battle-damaged Vader!
