I brought that up too and there’s no real logical explanation aside from cost savings. Maybe Hot Toys expects most people to keep the figure on the BARC so they won’t complain if there’s no heavy weapon or backpack.

As much as I love the BARC Speeders themselves, they made some weird choices on the figures they come with.

I still like them, but it’s all just kind a little odd at first glance. Only rationale I can think of for these picks is perhaps choosing Clone variants that are different enough from the basic trooper for people who already have them, but not quite important enough for people not buying the bike.

Otherwise they would get upset about missing out since the figures aren’t being sold separately. Imagine if they had made Neyo and the BARC but no separate Neyo. There’d be more outrage.

Hmm, didn't know speeerbikes with side-cars was such a ting in SWU, makes me wish Mando's had come with an egg shaped sidecar and a pair of Grogu scaled goggles.

Just wait for the tacked on medical version.

I don’t even know how someone would stay on that gurney; there’s no straps. They’d just slide right off like the tomatoes in a sub sandwich.

The gurney placement also puts them right in the line of fire for one the BARC blasters.

Will get the figure if they offer it on its own, dont have too much space.

Does Howard Chan realize that there are tons of epic Mandalorians in TCW?

The problem with this set is you're definitely have to put one extra 501st on the sidecar.

I'm just glad Appo comes with the regular speeder. If it were reversed I have to pass on both Appo and the barc altogether.
