I can see on FB someone asked for exactly what you requested, on 18th may, not sure if this was you or not. I have a lot of pre orders for queen, some are looking great like the mark 3 bust but we will have to wait and see about the rest. Is definitely something to be wary of for future
nah wasn't me, I made a separate post for it rather than a comment on another post so that it wouldn't get buried, but they never approved it so it never showed up on the group. If they back their product they should approve the post and show the pics I requested, but they won't, because they promised a piece that was painted by the artist himself with an edition size of 300 and charged a premium for it, and didn't deliver.

There's no denying they make quality products, but this was handled poorly. Add to this the fact that they ignored everyone's requests to change the base on the Battinson statue, they are starting to annoy me with the way they are handling things.

It's true that they don't listen to fan feedback as much as people think. For every captain america bust they rework, there's a lot more pieces that they just ignore feedback and go ahead with it anyway. Sometimes they will only show a piece when it's already in production or finalised, such as the mark 3 bust, or the Batman or captain america 1/4 where it was too late to change it/they didn't want to change it (addition of stealth shield for the latter). Also other issues such as how they handle their light ups on IM pieces, however they have advantages such as their pricing and some pieces look phenomenal

I think Queen do a pretty damn good job as far as feedback,I could only imagine the amount of feedback they must get and it would be impossible to acknowledge it all and still run a business, sooner or later you have to get on with it and back your artists and product.Collectors have a large scope of fussiness, you can't take it all on,you'd go mental, and at some point (especially when it's their business, and a business they built) they want to produce what THEY want to produce, and so far they've done pretty bloody well,I have zero problems with this Joker,I'm excited to see it in hand, imo they've blown away all companies that have tackled Heaths Joker.

It seems Queen are now throwing in an 'edition card' with a number on it, according to this pic:

Also, a Queen Studios rep sent this to me when I called them out on lying about Viper painting these:

Interesting to think how they will handle sending edition cards out, and how that collector got his seemingly in the box already

I know one collector got a card sent out after the fact due to complaints. Also apparently they have started offering mainland China collectors to send theirs back and they will touch up the heads. Seems like damage control to me due to backlash. This was handled so poorly.

Was that an Artist's Edition that they sent it back to touch up?

Yeah I agre, what a mess. I wonder can I send back my reg and get a better paint and sculted hair? Lol

I heard JND offered to touch up the paint on their Arthur Fleck, not so long ago

Yeah artist edition. They are going to offer it to mainland China collectors, as a way of making up for the fact that Viper didn't paint them. End of the day it doesn't even matter unless he is doing the touch ups for them (which we know he won't), and overseas collectors still grt screwed.

Yeah JND were offering Arthur Fleck touch ups as a way of saying thank you to customers who have supported them since day 1. Nice gesture.

That really sucks for overseas customers. The paint should have been up to scratch from the outset

What happened to this statue? The prototypes look unbelievable/pulled directly out of the movie. Best statue I’ve ever seen. I have never seen a bad angle of the prototypes not in video or photo. Everything is perfect. Even if you think the mass produced versions look good they don’t come close to hitting the perfection of the prototypes. I’ve never felt more let down by a release. Super talented customizers are doing their best to repaint and rehair these things, artists who are even better at joker paint/hair than viper and they STILL don’t come close to the prototype. It baffles me. It’s like the prototype and mass produced versions are totally different statues. I assumed the customizers would be able to do repaint them and get them to prototype level but nope. So upsetting

I've already got my cabinet set up with a slight blue tone to the light, to try to replicate that proto pic above. Lighting is everything

This is why I don't understand how people can be happy with this and say 'yeah it's good enough, can't wait to get mine'. Maybe if this was only 200-300 bucks more sure, I'd be happy too, but for the price we were charged, this isn't acceptable in the slightest. It's just simply not good enough for the money that was charged, not when the main selling point was that it would be painted by the artist and therefore should look the same as the prototype which he also painted. How can you be okay with this? We were promised one thing and delivered something else. I still have Queen's original message in my DM's from way back confirming that Viper would be painting and rooting these.

Accepting this sort of BS is exactly why these statue companies keep getting away with it. The only reason they started doing the ES cards and offering embellishments on the paint is because enough people made some noise. Maybe if more people made noise they might have actually pulled the run and gotten Viper to touch up the heads and actually number the bases before sending them out to collectors.

The thing that truly excited me about this release was that it was the best Heath ledger joker in any scale I had ever seen. Including multi thousand dollar custom figures of which I had one. Heath is the holy grail character that collectors have been chasing for years to get perfect. I don’t collect anything 1/4, I only collect 1/6 but was willing to make an exception because the prototype was that amazing. But I can confidently say now that there are better 1/6 custom jokers out there.

yeah it's a bit of a mess. I went from being excited to get this, to kinda not caring anymore tbh. I'm bitter now lol.
I'm a lot less excited but willing to see what the sculpted looks like in hand. The clothes and everything else look great, and the saving grace is the relatively reasonable price of the reg. If I had the rooted on order I'd prob feel differently, but the hair does look amazing so hey

Hair is definitely good, and the clothes look great too. I'm just disappointed in the paint job.

Maybe I'll feel differently when I receive it in hand, but the price point has killed the buzz I once had for this. Should have been perfect for the money. Oh well.

A new review. Probably the best one yet...gives a really good look at all aspects of this piece. It did slightly raise my excitement for it lol.

I had to put it on mute just due to Justins over emphasis on every word, super hard to sit through.
Looks bloody great though,(wish he'd futzed that hair a bit),I think in hand this will look spectacular, love the presentation of the box, just waiting on Sugo to receive him
