Exactly, we got 50 Luke Skywalkers. Twenty Leias. And admittedly a paucity of Han Solos, due to Ford being an @sshat - but just saying.

One thing we’re not going to do in this thread is pretend we don’t need Admiral Piett figures.

No “need” for OT, but that Obi-wan wasn’t their best work IMO, and that’s a pivotal character.

That Vader does look like a R1 reissue, but it’s pretty much the same look for Kenobi. Most likely just a repackaging.

Gotta say, even though I'm not too fussed about the OT, an updated Ben would be cool to see.

So, Vader, Wrecker, Crosshair, Cobb all without head sculpts. They are probably not ready. Besides the chrome exclusives, AT-RT set is the most likely. I'm still going to guess Mace and Padme are the big ones.

Oh yeah thanks for enlightening me.

Apart from the big names I just don’t see how any of these characters are popular enough to warrant figures so you can surely understand how they’re not being made? Especially since the new shows/PT/TCW are having their (well-deserved) time in the limelight atm!

I hope Hot Toys won't be lazy and reissue/kit bash an older Darth Vader to pass it off as the Obi Wan Kenobi Darth Vader. I rather like how the cape is designed with almost a collar around the helmet.

It’s all personal taste. I’d rather have greedo or lobot than Cobb or wrecker because I’m primarily an ot fan. Newer fans would probably want new characters. I’d rather have aotc kenobi than one from the show, but that isn’t realistic. It’s part of the hobby.

Fair enough man, and I guess understanding that is the niche skill that many collectors don't seem to have .

I’m an OT fan first and foremost followed by Clone Wars and PT. I would absolutely want Wrecker over Greedo. One of those is a main character and the other had 45 seconds of screen time.

Can you remember when someone on here stated we will see at least 10 figures from The Rise of Skywalker? Well, we only ever got 5, so that Snowtrooper whatever it is is nailed on Were they even in the movie. Thankfully I’ve blocked most of that film out of my mind.
