Man, this figure looks pretty incredible. I’m not a huge Batman Forever fan, but I thought Kilmer was great. I’m super tempted, but then I’d feel like I’d have to get Robin too.

Easiest PO I ever made, almost fully paid off. Shame they didn't bother making a Panther suit, Riddler or Two-Face.

Based on the image Hot Toys posted recently with upcoming releases I would say no.

Not sure if this means anything, but all the other figures that are suppose to come out during the same time as that Hot Toys preview pic had their ship dates pushed back at Sideshow (So Mech test Tony, Cable, Wonder Woman 1984, Venomized Iron Man and Dark trooper), except for these and Johnny Silverhand. Since Hot toys has been working more closely with Sideshow with the simultaneous releases, I'm hoping that means the three that are still slated for the May-July Time frame and will be coming out roughly on time since I imagine they are a smaller run, possibly even just one batch.
A guy on the OSR face book group that does a lot of stat work for HT release pointed out that in the past, Hot Toys does release figures not on their preview pic between those releases.
Ultimately though, could go either way.

Thank you for this information! Its good to have an optimistic angle at this point. My battle damaged Iron Man is now stuck in "preparing to ship" mode. One can only guess how long that goes.

Interesting. I think certain parts of the cowl look more accurate on the real item, for example, the size of the mouth gap. But the likeness might be stronger on the proto as far as what we can see under the cowl. It's tough to make a judgment because like you said, angles are difficult to see.Wait, is this first pic below from the actual product sculpt or is it from the prototype?

Those two pictures are of the same sculpt, but the one shown in the official promo pictures in the preorder listings is the “new” one - different from the one JC Hong posted.
Ah I see, looks like easiest way to tell is based on the mouth sculpt. I think the final version looks better and more accurate to Val's lips, just hope the retail product has as nicely detailed a paint job

I heard Kiss From a Rose when I was out to eat a week or two ago and I kind of want this figure now.
The Burton movies maybe captured the tone of the character more IMO but I was only 1 or 2 when Returns came out. By this one I was old enough to still remember some aspects around the time it was released and I honestly think it’s more nostalgic to me…
Maybe if I get bored with it I can just put a Bale or Pattinson sculpt behind the cowl as a “screen test” figure

I just received a email from Sideshow saying this figure will be delayed much longer than they anticipated. And because of that delay, I currently have the option to cancel this order if I would like based on FTC regulations. Boy thats a loaded email. First, how long is the delay because nothing was mentioned. And second, if I cancel do I get all of my money back since they are framing it like its the law that says I have the right to cancel? They really need to be more specific in these letters.
