How like is a Black Series Droideka I wonder? They’re my favourite prequel droid design!

I’d say as likely as anything else right now. SBD are also missing from the droid front but destroyer droids would undoubtedly be a deluxe figure these days.

I just watched Ewan MacGregor on Kimmel with this figure and he said it doesn’t matter how much they scan him it still doesn’t look a thing like him.

I'm just glad Ewan wasn't tasked with revealing his new Hot Toys figure. Howard would likely have taken offence over such comment.

I can’t remember which figure it was (possibly ANH) but I remember once Carrie Fisher was on a red carpet and had a figure with her and she was rubbishing it as well. Tried to find a link on YouTube and couldn’t. Assuming it wasn’t some weird dream I had lol.

As I impatiently wait for HT(SSC) to finally ship this figure set, I received the Black Series version and it's quite a figure....





It's actually pretty impressive. The paint apps (or printing or whatever it is these days) is a little heavy handed, but the body sculpting. the details on the gear and even the soft goods are really well done.

That looks great. A shame the face has a bit of Uncle Fester amount him but at that scale not that a big deal.

I thought Morrison also had a bit of Fester in him. And as it turned out, there wasn’t much Boba Fett there.

For the scale, that’s a great looking figure. They also nailed Christopher Lee perfectly.

I have kept very few Black Series figures but I think I will always hang on to my small army of Hoth Rebel Troopers. When you factor in all the different display options you can achieve I think it's easily one of the top five Black Series figures Hasbro has ever made.

I would love a similar army of 1/6 Hoth Rebels but unless a knockoff company makes a kit similar to the Mr. Toys Leia it seems like a near impossibility.

Yes indeed, that Hoth Trooper is one of the best Black Series figures...just looks great.




In fact, one of my other favorites is that Black Series Snowspeeder Luke. Very cool...
