If anything one thing I like about Sideshow is having a peg in each hand instead of keeping the peg in the body. When breaks happen it's always the part breaking off in the hand and not the other way around. If they figure a more permanent way to keep it inside the hand it'd work better.
Exactly this. And HT still only give us 2 extra wrist pegs no matter how many hands the figure comes with.

I've always said this, too. The Sideshow wrist pegs are very chunky but they're also pretty sturdy. They also have them in all the hands so you're not constantly stressing the very brittle nub trying to wrestle it into an often very hard plastic hand.

I was so frustrated with the old Maguire Spider-Man figure that I remember taking a hobby knife and slightly enlarging the hand holes.

Luckily I've only broken a few Hot Toys pegs over the years and you amass a good amount of them over time, but still. And it can be challenging to get the peg out when it breaks into the hand itself, though I have a good system using a tiny pin vise to break it apart.

i can't help but shake the thought off, did they somehow offer up a second cape that drapes?? they advertised a wired cape originally so im not sure if they're looking to include one since i do not thing a wired cape can look sitting flush like that. either way, i'll probably get it swapped out for something fancy like jaxon if he does end up making one (most likely)

Man, can we get QS to tease an InArt Peacemaker?
Great improvements on HT’s part but I’ll still wait to see how the InArt The Batman turns out. At this point, I’m glad to know either way I’ll be getting a good unmasked Bruce Wayne head. I just about finished putting together a Drifter figure (just need to find better pants and a proper backpack for him) so either sculpt will top it off really nicely.

I hope it’s not wired, I’m not a fan of wired capes at all.

This was an impulse purchase for me as I can't pretend I'm a Batman fan... but absolutely loved Robert as Batman and costume looked amazing (Didn't like the movie,as I love more supernatural direction) however I'm happy I preordered this, great upgrade, haven't seen as impressive figure by hot toys for ages. The power of competition lol I'm sure Queen Studios will look amazing but gonna cost more... personally I'll be happy with hot toys one.

I got this on sideshow and many are definitely correct on hot toys doing this cause of competition. I don’t think they would do this if in art wasn’t doing this to. It’s good to have this type of competition. Ps vs Xbox situation

Top left picture makes me worry that we might have the same issue with the avengers hot toys captain america pants before they were streamlined with a different material. Those captain america pants made out of fabric were super baggy and drove me crazy because they looked like balloons and were so high on the waist. Might be just me, though.

I think HT wrist pegs need to be made in a different way and with more durable plastic so it doesn't break or ever loosen. I think it's very doable as I've seen other companies do it.
That might be the case (even though I have never broke one and they give a couple extras) but I rather have pegs than magnets... that's literally the only reason I'm on the fence of selling my Crown Gandalf and buy the InArt one =/
