Jazwares Micro Galaxy Squadron

Seems like a great spiritual successor to the Galoob Action Fleet line, which I had wished the Hasbro Mission Fleet would’ve been. Interesting that a company other than Hasbro is doing vehicles and action figures, even if the figures are only 1” tall.

I loved Action Fleet when I was a kid, and still have my ships and playsets. Very excited to see something in a similar vein. It’s great that it looks like they might go pretty wide with the selection, too.

Razor Crest and Falcon are up for pre-order. X-Wing and TIE Advanced as well.

Great memories of the old line. Tiny little Falcon.

Wave 1 of the mystery boxes. A pretty good assortment, though I wish they were all army builders so it'd be okay to get multiple of any.

Nice to see Clones, though.

Close to, although the large ships will actually be pretty big. Action Fleet kept to a similar size for all its vehicles leading to the very small Millennium Falcon, Imperial Shuttle, AT-AT, etc.

Pre sold out on the popular ones! Wow, pretty cool. Def bring back great memories of the Action Fleet. Thanks for the links!

I'm surprised some of you are so excited about these. It's nice to see a line like this back, but to me they look like cheap hunks of unpainted plastic.

I have a bunch of the Action Fleet vehicles packed away in a box somewhere. But they looked a lot better than these to me. I can't remember which vehicles I have. I'll have to dig them out. Would've been nice to pick up some of the ships I like that I'm missing. But the lack of detail has me underwhelmed.

I do wonder how they will scale with the Action Fleet line though. Maybe when they are released and there's some reviews I'll change my mind.

I love Action Fleet and have a good amount (also packed away). It’s difficult to compare the two lines. Action Fleet did some amazing things but some ships were better than others and even as a kid, I never liked that the larger vehicles were very small like the Falcon and AT-AT.

So it’s very nice to see large vehicles being made that are actually large. And they look pretty good. It’s also great to see they seem to have a good read on what collectors want, with a line spread out amongst the OT, The Mandalorian, and The Clone Wars while bypassing the ST entirely.

The smaller ships are a bit lacking in detail, I agree, but I think they’ll be okay in person. The pictures kind of make their Halo toys look cheaper than they actually are. Definitely more effort and plastic than Hasbro around the time of TFA.

I’ll reserve final judgement till when I see them in person, but I was happy to pre-order based on what I saw. Usually I’m very pessimistic when it comes to this sort of thing, but Hasbro has starved the Star Wars toy market to the point where if Jazwares puts out a smorgasbord like this in one go, I can’t help but get a little excited.

I used to be a big Action Fleet (AF) collector, I have all the ships, vehicles and playsets, even all the MicroMachines (MM) playsets. I like the cool features of the AF ships and vehicles, the nice articulated figures, and even the reasonable accuracy of most of these, considering they were toys. AF was my main collection, what really made me collect Star Wars and they are the only exception to my Original Trilogy Imperials only collecting rule, as I collected AF from all movies, series, even non-Star Wars.

Seeing Jazwares coming with this similar line I'm really happy. I will not order all the ships and vehicles that I already have in AF line, but will get the ones I like and already pre-ordered the Jedi Starfighter on Amazon. I only hope, s an Eastern European collector, who doesn't have access to Target or other shops, to be able to buy these at a reasonable price and not encounter the ever present scalpers.

Just realized the Troop Transport might be an exclusive for Target, thus it might be harder to get here...

I love Action Fleet as well. Big part of my childhood. Glad to see the legacy being carried on, finally.

Hope you’re able to acquire the Troop Transport. That’s one of the ones I’m most looking forward to. I’m sure you’ll find a way, even if it’s an unnecessary hurdle.

Not a fan of all the exclusives and chase variants, but I understand why they did it.

Pretty hyped for these. I can't wait to get a tiny razer crest to put next to my haslab one
