I would never trust the friction of the wire waist grabber in the stand to hold the weight of an entire figure. Unless this one is more than a V shaped wire that slots inside.

The bottom of the base has screw mount groves, I think the intention is you can roof Mount the base, use the waist grabber to hold the fig in place inverted and use the magnet for the illusion, I don't think it was ever designed to bear the figs weight
Yep, the Sideshow boys did a quick rough approximation in their Unsealed and Revealed video.

Maybe not long term but for messing around or taking some shots I wouldn't be too worried, I think it's also why its a waist grabber design instead of the usual crotch one

The whole thing is just dumb ridiculous and mindless in other words Hot Toys public relations in a nutshell the most idiotic popular collectible company in existence no one is impressed by their business practices just a bunch of hive minded tools shackled under the weight of oppression who just happen to own licenses to geek properties.

Let it all out Jye :ROFLMAO:

As much as I would love to get that Snowspeeder for this figure, it is massive and I already have too many oversized pieces. Someone mentioned a few posts back about a sunken X-wing for this figure to stand on with a swamp background. That is the look I think I would like to create
Yeah even the Black Series 6” scale Snowspeeder takes up enough space. You could always use a forced perspective though behind this figure. I wonder if the Black Series Snowspeeder would fit in a detolf.

The more I see this figure the more I want to get the Jazzinc snowspeeder. But that will just mean I will have to get another one of these as well. Decisions, decisions.

It might if you sawed it in half and leaned the pieces upright.

Does the SW logo + Luke name on the base flip around though, or does it stay upside down with the stand inverted like in this pic?

It looked like it was just a sticker attached to the base in the video (or maybe directly painted onto base,) not an actual removable plastic plaque like the rectangular HT stand nameplates.

It would have been cool if HT had made a stand topper that had some ATAT belly detail as a 3D plastic piece rather than just the flat slide. The main problem with this whole mounting idea (which could have worked - they did it with the weather vane in DX07) is that unless you mount the inverted stand pretty high up, the viewer won't see the ATAT belly pic due to the angle.

So here’s the question that I’m sure a few people are thinking about, which is basically putting on the old Bespin outfit, but everything else is from the new figure and that’s exactly what I did. I know this thing is getting a lot of grief on the head sculpt, but in person, I think it looks pretty good.

When removing the flightsuit was there a fatsuit underneath? I really want to see this Snowspeeder figure without the fatsuit if there is any to slim it a bit down into what he looks like on dagobah

This shot has got to be the money shot for me !!

Such an awesome figure !! So much going on. Weathering looks great.

That headsculpt looks so much better on this figure than the ROTJ figure. It's like it was made for this Snowspeeder Luke and then reused for ROTJ instead of the actual other way around

With the fat suit, which I removed, and I didn’t sit there and study, but I think it’s very similar to the original DX Luke body. Very thin
