1/6 Princess Leia Milestone Statue by Gentle Giant

I just got tracking from EE, hope I like it. I almost canceled a couple weeks ago.

Mine is stuck in the US somewhere.
Been almost two weeks.

Finally got my shipping notice from EE today. Arrives Monday.

BBTS had been sold out since last fall, but has it available again, if anyone missed out.

Mine arrives tomorrow. Took 7 days to make it.

Mine finally arrived today, I got #65 out of 1000. It's a beautifully sculpted little statue that is let down a little by the paint work on the head sculpt, the eyes especially could be better. The rest is terrific. If the head sculpt had a HT level paint app this could be a near perfect piece. I'm tempted to send her off to get the eyes repainted.

This thing is a brick too, very heavy for it's size. I love the weight of it but it could be a drawback for some because it's way too heavy to comfortably put on a glass detolf shelf, it would need to go in a bottom shelf.

I should be getting mine on Monday.
I'm surprised to hear these reports that it has so much heft to it. I might have to be a bit creative when it comes to displaying it then.

Given GG's record of relatively poor paint application on living/human characters I'm not all too surprised to hear this.

That’s really disappointing to hear about the paint application on the face. I was hoping they’d step it up for this piece. Those promotional pictures looked great!

Mine should arrive tomorrow. I’m hoping I won’t be too bummed out by it.

Got mine recently also. It's good eye paint away from being the best thing to some out of Gentle Giant in a long time. Wish they could have nailed the eyes.

Who am I kidding, still the best thing to come out of GG in a long time, and the first thing I've purchased from them in years after having almost a complete mini-bust collection and many statues.

I have to say that GG's "Bistan" bust was one of their best ever. I even bought a second one in order to convert to a 1/6 figure, using Elvis1976's amazing custom as a reference.

Were you able to get a replacement? Mine came with the head broken off!

They really should have had the head separate in the packaging

Ah ok thanks. I’m the UK so seeing if the store is able to get a replacement. If not I’ll just try to glue it back on.

Really liking this piece for what it is.

Mine finally arrived last week, I really like the statue. It is very heavy, even more than Boba with Fennec on throne. The likeness in the face is great by my opinion.

Is it truly 1/6 scale? Does it match up well with other Star Wars figures?

Well, she definately has some heft to her. I'd say she's a little bit bigger than 1/6 scale. The head seems bigger, anyhoo

Also, what happened to the additional Mouse Droid they announced?
