I live in the UK and am semi retired so had plenty of time to work on my Indie, with perseverance you can make a very good looking figure.
People see these reviews straight out of the box and assume it is what it is but the sculpts in hand are far better than a video even the smiling head. For some just taking it out of the box and putting it in a detolf is ok for them but I want to see what I see in the movies and that is grime dust and scratches.
I'm not finished yet so will still go back to it refining along the way. I look at the old posts from years back to see what was available then and if the present toys one had been released at that time it would have blown everything else out of the water. For the price I paid £90 to me it is better than some figures costing £200 or more.

So with all you folks picking up the new Presents Toys Indy. Now is the time to start the upgrading!
And you can start with Michael Fisher incredible Holster and Belt Set! Genuine leather. Cuts are beautiful. Weathering perfect! Time to jump down that rabbit hole and build that grail Indy! Fortune and Glory, fellas.
Oh...and he does one of the best quality Whips you'll ever find as well!!
Get that Present Toys Indy to grail Status!

@Kit Chen should show these examples to Present Toys, surely people spending $200 on just the recast sculpt would indicate a second run would do well.

DISCLAIMER: The following is only my opinion and not a fact.

"IF" Present Toys decide to do a reissue of Raider Jones, I wouldn't be surprised if the price increases closer to the $200.00 USD or the $250.00 USD price point.

"IF" there is a reasonable price increase, I hope it'll remain at or below the $200.00 USD price point and possibly address the main nitpicking quibbles from the first production run.

I would definitely order another but not near the $200 price range (not worth it imo) but if they make improvements I would definitely consider it.

Don't forget the bag strap! I bought his set in 2014 for my custom Indy ,one of the best 1:6 purchases I have ever made.

Oh yeah I have two ot those from Mike as well. I tend to forget about those though

Well I’m finally finished futzing, and after a lot of weathering tons and tons of body modifications face repaints and kitbashing, I think I’ve finally reached a point where I’ve got an Indy that I’m proud to have on my shelf (at least for now), I tried to make it as “low budget” as possible as I’m currently between jobs atm and only used parts from the present toys, hot toys & a random KO body I had lying around.

What do you guys think?

Yes very nice Indy DrFrank. You have the leather jacket looking great! Best part of the set for me.

I think it's a nice figure for what it is and at its initial price point. Knowing you're going to put some work and some extra funds into it can be fun. What's being asked for now and having to put in some work along with the extra funds doesn't seem like fun. At least to me, ymmv.

I think PT hit the jackpot with this release, a bit like Art Figures Judge Dredd fig from a few years ago, I seem to remember that sold crazy well. AF released more Dredd figures off the back of that success. Im hoping PT do the same and release a Last Crusade Indy in the future.

PT would be crazy not to. I could easily see this figure sell for $250, especially when comparing to eBay prices.

My Worldbox AT011 came in and while it's a better body It doesn't change much as far as how the stock clothes lay. I needed to do some surgery to get the head to sit at a proper level. Cut some of the neck adapter off and removed all of the glue inside the sculpt.

Color match isn't exact but not too bad either. Looks decent without the jacket as well.

When you put the stock coat on it looses some neck. Granted I didn't fuzz very much and the stock jacket will do the trick if that's what you have. First pic is with the Present Toys Jacket and the second is with the Rise Customs leather jacket. Sorry as I know my photos are a$$ but hopefully they help someone.View attachment 577089

Haha. I wasn't ready to mess with them yesterday! They aren't bad though. This morning I was poping them off and on with no problem as I was adding socks as well. Just had to blast the inside of the boot with a hair dryer for a few. I'm suprised by how much I like the boots. Even more so than the dx05's.
