As it was announced I thought I’d start the thread.

Rooted hair most likely too, which would seperate it from the HT one.

I’m ok with only owning one Penny so I’ll stick with my HT.

There's not a snowball's chance this is the Tim Curry version. Lord of the Rings is the oldest thing on that list and even then they picked the two characters who also appeared in The Hobbit to start (Gandalf and Legolas).

The Curry one is way too niche, it’s obvious Queen are launching this line with hugely popular/recognisable characters……current Pennywise is way more relevant and pop culture solidified for it not to be him.

All I know is that my taste is Patrician and absolute, and whoever doesn't share it is a dirty pleb. Don't @ me, I'm right.

I don't care about any Stephen King stuff, but I watched the Curry version as a kid. Skarsgard looks cooler as a monster, but Curry has a more mischievous face. Ultimately I think Skarsgard would make for a much better collectible. But I don't know, is there really anything to improve? I thought the HT version was near perfect. Rooted hair, I suppose?

There's only one Horror figure I want and that's a Mads Hannibal. Coppola Dracula, MacReady from "The Thing" and Loius & Lestat from IWTV if they count. I'm not much of a horror guy, I like Gothic and Lovecraft at most. Sci-Fi Horror is the subgroup I liked the most from the entire genre. I only watched the newer IT flicks for Chastain, McAvoy, Hader and Skarsgard. But mostly my man McAvoy. God, how I wish he and Fassbender would come back as Xavier and Magneto in the MCU... At least I want dolls of them.

I'd be surprised if it is Curry's Pennywise - but it would be the smarter choice over Skarsgards Pennywise, which Hot Toys put some of their best work in a LONG time completing.
Plus Hot Toys has a proven track record... it would be BOLD to challenge them on a figure they JUST DID this early on in the line-up.
